We have a requirement for the position of Data Entry QA.
It is a full time position and the candidates must be a US CITIZEN.
Below is the job description;
Education/ yrs of Experience: Requires one of the following:
a) High School diploma and 7 years of related experience in process, records, and/or data entry/ quality assurance.
b) Associates Degree in Math /Business /Statistics or equivalent and 5 years of related experience in process, records, and data entry/ quality assurance.
c) Bachelors Degree in Math /Business /Statistics or equivalent and 3 years of related experience in process, records, and data entry/ quality assurance.
Responsibilities include:
• Performing formal and informal reviews of processes and data;
• Implementing auditing and quality assurance techniques and standards;
• Establishing and maintaining documentation;
• Documenting of business and operational processes;
• Defect tracking;
Clearance: Must have a DHS clearance or be clearable at a secret level
General Description: Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for data and process quality assurance. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Performs a variety of tasks working under general supervision. Performs inspections and implements quality assurance assessments. A certain degree of creativity and independent judgment is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
o Ability to clearly articulate and present findings, and generate reports and presentations;
• Excellent computer skills;
o Basic experience with relational databases;
o Able to utilize word processing tools for production of documentation, tables, charts, etc.;
o Able to use electronic spreadsheets
o Able to use presentation software for preparing and presenting reports to upper management and clients;
• Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills;
Key Responsibilities: Verification and validation of business and operational processes; verification and validation of data transcription/conversion; identifying and documenting errors and requirements nonconformance; analyzing and reporting on process and data accuracy; understanding stakeholder needs and expectations, identifies and documents opportunity for process improvement.
• Specific Duties:
o Evaluates the accuracy of data transcriptions/conversions based on a set of predefined business rules;
Validates data entries based on approved business rules.
Reports on the accuracy of processed data, forms, documents, etc. and requirements compliance;
o Identifies reoccurring error patterns and documents such
Develops recommendations for process improvement
o Analyzes business and workflow flow to evaluate requirements compliance;
Perform onsite process and workflow audits
o Using an understanding of business process analysis to evaluate compliance to standard processes for data transcription/conversion.
o Identifies and documents opportunities for process improvement.
• Pluses:
o Data entry and data quality assurance experience
o Trained in CMMI and/or ISO quality management processes and procedures;
o IV&V experience
o Software/System Quality Assurance experience
