AQUAS, Inc. is looking for a WebSphere Programmer/Operator to provide the following services:
Key Responsibilities:
• Support for the installation, customization and administration of IBM WebSphere
Portal Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM Workplace Web Content
Management on Windows and Red Hat Linux.
• Deploy J2EE business application, specifically designed and developed in Java for IBM WebSphere Infrastructure into Production.
• Support for the installation and customization of business applications and systems.
• Support for the cross-platform connectivity of WebSphere, Oracle and of the
applications which are based on these products across OS/390, CICS, Win2K3, OS/2, via CTCA, TCP/IP, and SNA.
• Implement WebSphere Portal and Application Server Clustering
• Configure and Integrate WebSphere to enterprise using J2EE Technology - JDBC,
JMS, JNDI, RMI, Mainframe
• Performance tuning of WebSphere Portal and Application Server - JVM tuning
Additionally must be able to:
• Ensure Availability, Scalability and Timelines
• Work with Technical Writer to develop standard operating procedure
WebSphere services.
• Work with Enterprise Architect, DBAs and Web team to evaluate, resolve,
design, maintain and support WebSphere services.
• Work with Systems team to trouble-shoot any hardware/software related
issues as per WebSphere services.
• Provide 80% response time to first calls as per technical assistance request
from helpdesk or eMAC.
• Attend meetings and provide strong analytical report / weekly reports of activities
• Escalate issues to management with recommendations
