Woodbourne Solutions is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team supporting the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. The working environment at Woodbourne is fast paced and will require the successful candidate to be capable of multi-tasking among multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes test plans and scripts on different web applications
• Conducts Ad-Hoc testing as well as structured testing
• Able to develop test data as needed
• Work closely with the QA and/or Project manager to plan, schedule, and execute the QA strategy
• Actively participates in business and functional requirements review
• Works with Project Management team to verify the readiness of a build for launch.
• Execute regression test, functional tests and data tests using automated test tool and manual (whenever required)
• Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs.
• Responsible for implementing Quality Assurance activities throughout the life cycle of assigned projects.
• Other duties such as metrics collections, lessons learned and milestone reviews.
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of QA and / or development experience
• Bachelors degree in computer science or technical degree preferred
• Exposure to formalized QA process and methodology is required
• Experience with testing web based applications is required
• Experience working with development and implementation teams
• Manual testing experience is required, automation experience preferred
• Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, XML and internet browsers.
• Highly detail oriented
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
