MediFit Corporate Services is a leading provider of onsite fitness and wellness solutions across the US. We currently have an opportunity for part time Personal Trainers in Silver Spring, MD. This is a part time job with flexible scheduling, based on clientele need and your availability to train.

Role of the personal trainer:
• Provide clients with a comprehensive fitness evaluation; complete physician clearance requirements, where applicable
• Design fun and innovative customized training programs based upon fitness goals
• Educate clients on how they can “take their session with them” – ideas for exercising while on business travel, at home, on vacation, etc.
• Ensure clients are exercising in a safe manner and within any physical limitations; provide modifications when necessary and correct form.
• Encourage members to participate in other aspects of the fitness center
• Represent MediFit by upholding the company’s customer service standards

Qualifications:
• Current, nationally recognized personal training certification (ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE preferred); degree in a health/fitness field of study a plus
• CPR/AED certifications must be current
• At least one year experience working with fitness participants; one-on-one personal training experience desired
• Must demonstrate knowledge of designing and modifying exercise programs for high risk clientele
• Trainers must be able to distinguish contraindicated exercises
• Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills are essential
• Superior customer services skills required
