Lucky you - your housing search is over! You have found a HUGE room in a 4-person house in College Park! It is exactly one mile from the University of Maryland campus, which is a 30 minute walk along a nice bike trail, or a 10 minute walk from 2 different UMD shuttle lines.
This room has 3 large windows in the main room, and one in the attached full bathroom (which is ALL YOURS). There is a large closet spanning one wall, a ceiling fan, wireless internet, ac, cable, a lil yard out back (see below), with a bigger space suitable for frisbee throwing, and a kitchen with a new gas oven, living room and dining room shared with the other girls and guy living here, all of whom are very laid back graduate students. There is also a washer and dryer downstairs - free of course! It is available to rent late May/early June through mid to late August.
The afternoon light in this room is gorgeous, filtered by the neighboring trees, and it is near Smiley's Herb shop, a vegan cafe, the afore mentioned bike trial, and a 5 minute walk from a large lake with geese, more bike paths, and beautiful sunsets. It is also a mile from the College Park metro (green line), another 30 minute walk down a beautiful trail.
