Help Desk Technician/Network Administrator Entry Level

Position Summary
The Help Desk Technician/Network Administrator is responsible for performing triage/help desk duties in addition to network administration of servers, email, backups and routers. The technician will provide support to remote users remotely and occasionally on-site. A car is required. This position is from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshoot email problems at both the client and server level.
Troubleshoot/monitor backups.
Setup/disable users.
Troubleshoot printing problems.
Troubleshoot remote access problems (VPN, Terminal Server, Remote DT, etc.)
Prepare new PCs and servers for deployment.
Repair PCs.
Field end user how to questions.
Desktop removal of viruses and spyware.
BlackBerry Enterprise Server support.
Basic Qualifications
High School required.
College helpful.
MCP or MCSE helpful.
Must be physically able to carry and install PCs, servers and printers.
Must be physically able to install equipment under desks.
Well versed in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Must be well mannered.
Must be able to handle stressful situations.
Must be a people person.
Must have excellent communication skills.
