Dial-In newspaper service for blind and visually impaired individuals seeks Weekend Supervisor to oversee the recording of the Washington Post and other publications by volunteer readers. Duties include the coding of newspaper articles, monitoring volunteer readers, verifying that automated transfer programs are operating, and making necessary computer adjustments. Candidate should be highly organized, focused, and methodical, computer literate, with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Audition required. Training will be provided. Hours are 5:30 am to 11:30 am on alternating weekends. Work schedule will include Federal holidays and some weekdays. Compensation $12.00/hour. Send resume to stewart@washear.org.
