Man Oh Man (MOM) is a made-for-men TV series; a sexy and hip trio of expert hosts leads a dynamic and diverse group of men who represent the unlucky in love, the socially inept, the romantic exiles on Main Street, and brings their tales of love lost to the nation's preeminent gurus who's mission is helping these men.
We're not in this just so you can get laid. This show is packed with information that will help you, challenge you and change you.

Entrants need to be willing to bare their soul, to live with a cast for a short period and bust their ass.
Additionally, provide tech support to customers via phone and e-mail. You need to know how our software works inside out, and how it interfaces to various non-linear editing systems (especially Final Cut Pro and Avid) in order to provide technical support to our users. Good verbal communication skills are needed.
Also respond to customer inquiries via the phone. You will describe how our software works to potential customers who call us, and educate them about closed captioning and how CPC software can solve their captioning needs. No cold calls, no hard selling, just educating.
So… you need a thorough understanding of digital video, people skills to work with employees and clients, and vision so you can grow the business. We give you independence and responsibility (it’s almost like running your own business), and we expect you to run with it.
Requirements
A great project manager – this position is all about organizational skills and getting stuff done.
Excellent working knowledge of all digital video file formats and streaming, and experience with format conversion. This includes, but is not limited to: Flash, Quicktime and Windows Media.
Strong understanding of Mac and Windows Operating Systems.
Solid experience with and understanding of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Premiere. Same with Avid is a plus.
Adobe applications support and troubleshooting.
An understanding of video post-production workflows.
Solution oriented – must be able to diagnose and solve problems on the fly.
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
Comfortable providing assistance to both technical and non-technical people.
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
Maturity and ability to work in an unsupervised environment.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:Minimum of an Associate EE Degree or related work experience.
Experience:3-5 years of studio and transmitter maintenance experience, preferred. Digital facilities experience is preferred but not required.
Equipment:Panasonic DVC Pro VTR's, Panasonic Video Cameras, Chyron CG, Avid Thunder still stores, computer graphics systems, Non Linear editing systems, Harris Automation. RF (Radio Frequency) and transmitter experience a plus. CAD/Visio experience a plus.
License/Certificate: FCC General Class license or SBE Certification desired.
Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of FCC Rules essential. The use of test equipment and soldering skills required. Requires lifting of various equipment. Climbing, bending and crawling under certain items are also required at times. Must have ability to prioritize. Ability to work with microwave, transmitters, and satellites. Must be available for shift changes, nights and/or weekends and possible overtime hours.

CEOs discuss what it takes to succeed in business, what leadership truly entails, and what interesting stories dictated their path.
Host Rebecca Blacksmith is currently completing her third ivy league graduate degree and a Fellow working on her Ph.D. at Penn. She has conducted over 3000 elite interviews with CEOs, Governors, etc.

Intern Position Leaders Portfolio has a rare opening for an unpaid internship for the academic year 2009-2009 for an average of 12-15 hrs per week. Car is strongly suggested, but not required.
In-Studio tasks: Intern will be responsible for preparing the private GREEN ROOM for CEO arrival and handling production items related to a guest appearance. Intern must be time-conscious and able to take direction well in a fast-paced LIVE studio environment. Intern will also have the benefit of being surrounded by CEOS, their media relations and investor relations teams.
Non-Studio tasks: Will include research on any of the following areas: guests, sponsorship, technical/website/production/computer assistance, or production items (depending on intern skill sets). Computer saavy and production tech saavy interns strongly encouraged to apply but not required.
Time Commitment In-studio hours approximately one Tuesday every 3 weeks from 10:30AM – 6PM in Rockville, MD (plus bonus individualized mentoring session with host from approx 6-7PM if desired). Sharp arrival is a MUST – this is LIVE radio. Must be able to commit to this time period.
