Let me welcome you to The Sticks. Our privatly owned Chalet is nestled on one acre of serene wooded property. Our 'A frame' home invites you and your loved ones to a home away from home atmosphere. You will find a well appointed kitchen with ample dishes, siverware, cooking utensils, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, and a full size refridgerator. A breakfast bar connects the kitchen with the dining area and the living room. The open floor plan allows you to feel more connected with your family while on vacation. The Dining area includes a large table with seating for 6. The Living room area includes tastefully chosen decor, with comfy seating on the matching Sofa and Loveseat. Enjoy cozy evenings by the woodstove, or curled up with a book. You will find ample wood near the driveway. Just down the staircase is our Family/Game room. Enjoy hours of playtime with our bumper pool and ping pong table. Or choose a movie from our library and cuddle up on the ooh so soft velvet couches. Downstairs you will also find a full bathroom and clothes washer and dryer.
Our home has 3 private bedrooms.
The Master bedroom has a queen size bed with a full bathroom, and jetted bathtub. You will find this bedroom in the loft over looking the Dining and living room area.
Bedroom #2, has a queen sized bed, this room is located just down the hall from the Kitchen.
Bedroom #3, has a full sized bed, this room is also located just down the hall from the kitchen. There is a full bathroom next to these rooms.
We also have a pullout couch/sofabed in the family room.
We provide linens, towels, tolite paper, and basic soaps.
We have a 1.25'Newtonian Bushnell telescope if you wish to pop some bubbly and gaze at the spectacular stars.
We are a scant 5 min. drive from Bryce Resort, and a short 10 min. stroll from Fishing, boating, swimming, tennis, bike paths. Within an hour is Luray Caverns, Sky Line Drive, Shenandoah Caverns, and Massanutten. We are just 2 hrs. from Washington, D.C.
