Painting / Cleaning / Pet Care in Exchange for 1 Month Rent (Germantown, MD)
My name is Brian. I am a professional 38 year old painter (over 20 years experience / have references and pictures). I need to rent a basement apartment or a room with a private bath for my fiance, Sarah, and I. We were sharing a place with someone who moved and so we had to move also. For the past couple of weeks, I have been paying expensive daily rates at a hotel for a decent place to stay. Between that and my bills I have not been able to save up enough for a security deposit and the first month's rent to get a place. I thought this would be a good place to see if I could find someone that needs our services and can help us out in return.
I can do free painting and other minor home improvements inside or outside of your home or business in exchange for the first month's rent. I will provide the labor and you would supply the paint and/or other supplies. Sarah is also an experienced cleaner/organizer and currently works taking care of dogs. We would have to work for you nights and weekends since we both have day jobs.
By the time the second month's rent is due I will have the money I need to pay rent and/or utilities to you. If you have a temporary place for us or it's not our ideal place we were looking for to stay permanently we could work out something for just a month. That way we have a place to stay temporarily, can save up money, do free work for you, and look for something else that is more along the lines of what we want.
I have references and pictures of me and some painting that I have done. Please let me know if we can work out a deal! We'd like to see what work you need done, the place we'd be staying, and then we'd work out a contract. I work in Germantown and Sarah works in Gaithersburg/Rockville so we would like to find a place in one of those places or somewhere near by that has public transportation.
