We are a full-service interactive agency located in Bethesda, MD seeking an Information Architect. We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of Information Architecture experience and excellent communications skills.
Responsibilities:
* Analyzing client needs and goals and developing a strategy to address them.
* Mapping existing client content assets and assisting in defining additional requirements.
* Developing user-centered site architecture with a commitment to intuitive taxonomy and nomenclature.
* Producing sitemaps, wireframes, and/or task flows in support of the architecture.
* Articulating rationale to colleagues and clients with clarity.
* Working with designers and programmers to achieve strong visual and technological solutions without sacrificing usability.
* Assisting content development teams in defining content needs.
Experience with the following is not a requirement, but is a definite plus:
* Developing use-case scenarios.
* Conducting heuristic evaluations and usability testing.
* Performing competitive analysis.
