If I end up being your teacher you just saved yourself a lot of money finding me here! I'm currently work for two music schools and you would be paying about 30% more if we hooked up via a school.

I have no music degree (it's a different B.A.), no fancy web-site, can't do fretless or standup, can't do slap-pop, can't sight-read, now have 1.5 years (used to say "little experience") teaching it. And I don't want to do this full-time forever. Just a rocker and somewhat new music teacher who's played in numerous bands, studied books cover to cover, and had many a bass and guitar lesson.

I'm a high school teacher-to-be so teaching is my calling. And without getting into detail I can teach most all what the others will spell out in their ads. No big claims here like "learn to develop perfect pitch". We all know it comes down to your talent and effort facilitated by a good teacher's direction.

What I offer is my own pre-planned curriculum tailored for each student. My whole aim is to teach the tools that will get you into grooves and rhythms so you can have fun and be the best you can be. Your place (extra fee) or mine. Parents please check me out too. $15 intro (45 min) lesson, $23-half hour, $33-45 min, $42-hour, blocks of lessons cheaper. And feel free to compare me to others. References available upon request.

First off I want this to become, if not be right off an originals group. I'm not trying to find a Karaoke singer or someone who just wants to get payed for playing covers (not that I hate covers, can can be great learning tools and fun too). Also I really do want to rock not just lounge it up.
I have musicians, I play bass, my friend plays piano/keys, we have at least two guitar players we can choose from and several drummers. We're all Jazz students at Montgomerey College and looking to jam that during the summer but I've been listening to a lot of Cat Power lately and really would like to do something fuzing some sonic elements of jazz with the straight ahead and earnest sound of rock.
Hoping to find a female singer or someone who can emote well (no emo whiners though).

Hello! I am currently looking for students in the area interested in taking violin or viola lessons from me. I am an undergraduate student, pursuing a double-major B.M. in Instrumental Music Education and Viola Performance. I am friendly and open, and use these lessons to educate students on how to incorporate music into their lives, whether they go on to be virtuoso violinists/violists, or lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc.

I have studied a vast repertoire on both the violin and viola with members of the National Symphony Orchestra, the Peabody Conservatory, The President's Own Marine Chamber Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. I teach all levels from complete beginners to pre-conservatory using a hybrid-Suzuki method that enables students to learn to read music from the beginning, but also places an emphasis on musicality, memorization, and developing a good ear. I have a young, enthusiastic attitude towards teaching, and enjoy working with students of all ages, including adult beginners.

My lesson rates are:
$20 for 1/2 hour (Usually Suzuki Books 1-2)
$30 for 45 min. (Usually Suzuki Books 3-4)
$40 for 1 hour (Suzuki Book 5-end, standard repertoire)

Im a 25 year old singer that has been singing for 10 years or so, ive played in a couple different bands and have good stage experience with a phenominal stage prescence.

I dont care what your influences are as long as your willing to play along for a NEW sound. Many different people from different musical backgrounds would be great. I also dont care how u look, if your an 80s head that wants to wear neon pink shorts with a bandana, then do it, just know u might be standing next to some guy in a monster costume(if thats what your into as well, like i said, i dont care what your style is). In fact youtube the band psycho le cemu, and thats a good outline of a band that doesnt care about such things as genres.

We're looking for a guitar player who can ideally add something melodic and interesting (weird noises?) to the sound. At the very least someone who can handle my rhythm guitar parts (not hard to do) so I can go off a little, and even switch to keyboards on some songs. Vocal abilities would be cool.

Hi, I'm an aspiring rapper/singer-songwriter in the DC Area looking for a producer that will help me get myself heard. I have plenty of songs written, and I have the time to put the songs together seeing as I work nights. I haven't been recorded so far, and I have been desperately trying to get my songs done. I know how I want them all to sound, and I know how I want to arrange them. I just don't have the equipment or the know how to make the productions myself. I'm also asking that you help me for free, saying that you'd produce for me, and I'd sing or rap on a track. After we have the productions made and ready, I'd like to go to clubs and do performances when the chances come up, so it would be like a partnership more than you helping me for free, you'd eventually rep the rewards from our work together.
