Accounting Professionals for our national firm provides client services to Fortune 500 and 1000 companies. Primary areas of focus will include Financial Statement preparation/review, Corporate Accounting Support, SEC reporting (Q/K), Financial Analysis and Special Project Management.

Special Projects
As a member of this team you'll be responsible for various short term and long term assignments that includes assisting with internal and external financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures for compliance with U.S. GAAP requirements, SEC filings, financial, trend and variance analysis, compliance testing, budget analysis and testwork. Furthermore you'll be responsible for developing and implementing process improvement initiatives relating to corporate accounting and financial reporting workstreams and research current GAAP and FASB pronouncements.
Job Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience is a plus!
3-8 years of accounting experience - Big 4 or National public accounting firm audit experience and/or large corporation (Fortune 500 or 1000) experience in an internal audit or corporate accounting environment
General accounting knowledge General Ledger, Financial/SEC Reporting, Financial Analysis, FASB and other Government standards
Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in U.S. GAAP,
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High energy with a commitment to quality client service
Strong software experience that may include: Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, MS Office (Excel)
