We are an accounting firm in Falls Church currently seeking a candidate with practical knowledge of accounting and tax principles, to fill our practice manager position. The practice manager will report directly to the managing partner and will fill multiple roles as they work with both clients and employees.

Roles:

1) Client Liaison – Practice manager will serve as the point of contact for all clients. Superior customer service skills and ability to build relationships with marketing and referral sources are required to enhance our image and help grow the firm. Organizational skills will be needed to track and integrate prospective/new clients into the practice using established policies and procedures.

2) Office Manager – Practice manager will complete and/or delegate all day-to-day administrative tasks of the practice, according to established policies and procedures. Practice manager will also be responsible for purchasing, policies, employee manuals, internal communications, and general maintenance of facility.

3) IT Management – Practice manager will be responsible for delegating the operation and management of the IT department. Must maintain working knowledge of software, including accounting suites and Microsoft Office.

4) Staff Motivation & Team Work – Practice manager will promote an environment that encourages team building.

5) Marketing Development – Practice manager will create a strategy for marketing efforts that reflect our image and strengths through printed and online media.

Qualified candidates will be self directed, highly motivated, reliable individuals who have at least 5 years experience in a managerial position. Organization, problem solving skills, a good eye for details, and excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary. Candidates must be able to manage and supervise up to 5 staff members. Neat and professional appearance and excellent time management skills are mandatory as the position will require a lot of interaction with clients and vendors.
