Operations Specialist (Ashburn, VA)
Growing independent Wealth Management firm in Ashburn, Virginia, is seeking an Operations Specialist/Manager. The position is salaried, 40 hours per week, and involves no selling. All candidates must have no criminal record or arrests, and must pass a background check. We are required to fingerprint all new employees.
Our ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of administrative office experience, excellent client service and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, and must be capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment working under minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with organizational, decision-making and leadership ability are essential. Responsible for the day to day work flow organization, completion and follow up. We are looking for a self-starter with outstanding problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Preferred candidates will also possess:
• Previous Broker/Dealer experience
• Knowledge of investment strategies and industry compliance regulations
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Candidate will oversee all operations vital to the implementation of investment strategies and retirement plans to encompass the processing of paperwork, maintaining client files, and working with Broker/Dealer and other investment companies on a daily basis to request, supply and monitor the information process needed to complete transactions in a timely manner. Candidate will be required to produce client and company correspondence pertinent to accomplishing job tasks. Responsibilities also include implementing and maintaining Broker/Dealer compliance standards at all times to ensure passing of semi-annual compliance audits.
