Overview:
The Pricing Analyst will provide analytical and production support for the pricing activities associated with developing proposals for new opportunities and for modifying existing contracts. The Pricing Analyst has the responsibility to work with Business Development management to implement the company’s pricing strategies, policies, processes, and tactics for assigned opportunities and contracts.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge and experience in reading and understanding U.S. Government RFP’s, RFQ’s and an understanding of the processes utilized to prepare a price submission in response to these documents.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office tool suite including expert skills using the Microsoft Excel toolset to prepare tabular cost and price submissions.
• Ability to plan the work and schedule required to respond as part of a team to RFP requirements ensuring proposal schedules and deliverables are met.
• Past experience developing competitive cost analysis.
• Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Bachelors Degree. A strong process and business orientation is required. 5 years of ands on experience in the federal Government and particularly in federal Government acquisitions and procurement
