Experienced male cycle tourist seeking one other cyclist (age 35-45) to join me on a two-week trip in Western Ireland this summer.
Open dates TBD between mid-August and late September. Plan to bike 400-500 total miles (45-50 a day), averaging a leisurely 10-15 mph. Fly into Shannon Airport in County Clare, then head either southwest or northwest from there. Overnights in Ireland's friendly, family-run B&Bs. Dinner in pubs and restaurants. Trad music sessions in the evenings.
Previous cycle touring experience helpful, but not necessary. You should be in good physical condition, have lots of stamina, the willingness to bike in the rain and cool weather, a sense of humor and a friendly, sociable personality.
RSVP with interest or questions and to chat about doing weekend rides together first to get acquainted.
