Looking for Female Cycling Partner

Hello,
My bf gave me his mountain bike to ride until I am comfortable to get my own. He and I ride together. However, I'm looking for someone to ride with when he and I cannot. I would love to ride to Old Town, bring my bike to D.C and do a tour, etc. I would love to ride in the mornings, but I don't feel comfortable riding alone.
Please note that I'm a beginner rider. I started out at 8 miles. Of course, I want to build up my miles and go on long rides eventually.
