Integrated Direct Marketing (IDM), is a rapidly growing list brokerage and database marketing firm located in Reston, VA. As a leading supplier to large multi-channel direct marketing companies, IDM is a fast paced entrepreneurial environment offering tremendous challenges and opportunities for those individuals with the vision, skills and drive to succeed.
We are currently seeking an Account Director to oversee the full cycle of client campaigns. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in direct marketing, have proven leadership abilities, and be highly motivated to grow and excel with IDM.
Primary Responsibilities include:
•Campaign Management- Own and manage all aspects of media purchase planning
•Circulation Planning – Use clients mailing history and campaign management tool to recommend circulation strategy to List Brokers
•List/Market Research- Identify targeted prospect markets and recommend/present information to List Brokers and clients
•Budget Tracking/Forecasting – Maintain an internal system for tracking information on clients’ sales performance, list response, and cost budgets
•Client Relations – Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with current and prospective clients on a daily basis
•Vendor Relations – Regular interaction with vendors to effectively position IDM’s needs and interests
•10-15% travel
Qualifications:
•Minimum 3-5 years direct marketing experience required
•Experience leading and managing multiple projects with little to no supervision
•Proven experience with relationship building
•Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
•Excellent verbal/written communication skills
•Computer skills a must with a high proficiency in MS Excel
•Bachelor’s degree – required
