This metal first aid container and its contents are military in origin, possibly WW1 or WW2 as the first aid book inside is dated 1931 and revised in 1942. Contents are mixed some old and some older. A presciption bottle for "Captain Ormonde Spanula" for cold medicine and several medicine packs labeled Baur and Black say "US Army Style". The box is black crackle paint, as much military equipment was during WW1 and WW2.
