Michael & Son Services has been servicing the metropolitan area for over 30 years. We have 4 large divisions within our company including Remodeling, Electrical, Plumbing, and Heating & Air Conditioning.
We are currently looking for a Quality Control Person/Permit Runner to travel around VA, MD, DC in a company provided vehicle inspecting our current job sites. The optimum person will have some knowledge of Electrical and/or Plumbing. Also this person MUST have a working knowledge of the Metropolitan Washington Area.
Responsibilities:
-Driving will be a major part of this job. You will be dispatched to 5-10 job sites per day . Your driving record must be Clean!
-Taking photographs of the work in progress or finished product, and of the technicians in uniform.
-Meet with homeowners and introduce our company and offer other services, but you must accomplish this without "stepping on the technicians toes"
-Develop referrals and follow up
-Get appropriate permits from various Counties
-Meet at the central office in Alexandria to upload photographs and report to the owner of the company.
