Matthew's Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families affected by autism. Our commitment to involve families in the educational, social, and behavioral development of their children leads to positive life outcomes. The Center also offers the opportunity to work in a professional and collaborative environment.
Our services are in great demand and we currently have part-time openings for individuals to implement recreation, leisure, self care, and life skills for children enrolled in our after school care program. On regular school days the after school program hours are from 2:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The program has also been designed to provide services on most local public school teacher workdays, breaks, and early dismissals. The program will open at 12:00 p.m. on early dismissal days. The Program Aide is responsible for conducting age and developmentally appropriate activities, observing and recording data, and assisting students in eating, dressing, toileting, braces, position, and with matters relating to personal hygiene and health related services.
High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months supervised programmatic experience. Experience in autism and/or special education preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.
