U9 and U11 Boys travel soccer tryouts - Northern Virginia Soccer Club (NVSC) - Winter/Spring seasons

Three new U9 boys travel teams and four U11 boys travel teams

NVSC JR Royals 98 Blue are looking for 1-2 talented players. The team is filled with exceptional players and we hope your son can fit in as well. The team went undefeated in its first season, suffered one loss in the second, went undefeated in winning the winter season championship and currently has a 7-1 NCSL record this Spring. The team made the final of the 2009 Arlington tournament playing in the (top) Elite division after going 3-0 in pool play. The team has won the Cardinal Cup twice and also the BattleField Classic (Oct '08) while being a finalist in a few other tournaments. Most recently (Memorial weekend/2009) the team won the Columbia Maryland Invitational Premier (top bracket) championship. The team is coached by former D1 collegiate player, Kevin McKenna, who played 12 years in the International League, various Premier leagues on the East Coast and also played for both Quantico and Fort Belvoir. Coach Kevin and his staff train the kids year round and are always willing to bring on new players to practice, train and/or tryout for the team. The Jr Royals are looking for dedicated, talented players who will blend nicely with our existing core group of players. Coach Kevin has trained and coached kids and adults of all ages and at all levels of play. He brings a very straight forward, disciplined approach to the game along with a wealth of talent and expertise. For more information contact coach Kevin at (703) 583-2390 or via email at Kevin.McKenna@gsa.gov.

Eligibility – must not turn 11 years of age prior to August 1, 2009 and must be a travel caliber player or a player with outstanding potential (good size, excellent speed, and a strong desire to learn the game of soccer)…

We have great kids and fantastic families associated with this team. The boys have a tremendous amount of fun playing soccer and that is one of the many reasons for their outstanding success.

Eligibility for U9 - must not turn 9 prior to August 1, 2009...
