4/8-4/22: Firestar! Battle of the Bands Every Tuesday! (Del Ray/ Alexandria)

Starting Tonight, we are going to be hosting a battle of the bands at Fireflies Restaurant in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. We have all the bands we need for tonight, but are looking to book up for the future. We have 3 time slots. The way it works is you come in and play a 30-45 minute set. Then the audience will vote and at the end of the night, the votes will be tallied and the winner announced. Then the winner will be playing two days later for a full set. Then the winner will have an option of coming back for another try the next Tuesday.
So as you can see, this could turn into a regular gig for someone if the crowd loves you. And if not, it is still a lot of fun. The Thursday gig will be paid as well as a food allowance given. Please reply to this email if this is of interest to you. We are looking for all kinds of music, but what has been most popular so far has been country, bluegrass, blues, acoustic rock, classic rock, and older alternative music.
