This is just an extension of The SalsaNews email newsletter & in some ways, a celebration of its 10th year anniversary of supporting all salsa clubs, classes, instructors, promoters, DJs, bands, performance groups, etc. in the Washington Metropolitan area equally. I humbly invite many of my students and friends (old and hopefully new) of the past 14 years to join the group to keep up to date as to the many places, events, etc. going on in the DC Salsa community. I am not planning to organize meetups at this club or that like the DC Salsa Meetup. I only hope to better plan attendance to support live music, potluck parties, classes or workshops, trips for salsa and other reasons as well as many nonsalsa related activites in the hopes of sharing my 20 years of experiences with restaurants and other fun things to do in DC with the rest of the area. I think Meetups are lots of fun because they give us all options so feel free to join several such as Tysons Singles, Things To Do In DC and several others that have sounded interesting. We will meet for dinner at 7pm and for all those who come to dinner, the night is free. For all those who come in after 10pm, the cost is only $5 for the whole evening with a copy of this announcement regardless of what time you come on by! Dinner will run from 7 to 9pm, I need to know how many so I can reserve a table for us and then classes will be held from 9:30 til 10pm, followed by awesome salsa, merengue, bachata and cha cha all night long courtesy of DJ Andy, El Mas Bailable!
