ISO 9001 INTRODUCTION
It is not sufficient that companies have a management system but an economic necessity that the system be continually improved. A good understanding of the ISO 9001 Standard is essential for developing a process based management system in the first place. Thereafter procedures will ensure that the system is continually improving. This is also a basic requirement in conducting business globally.
You will need this seminar to understand the basics of ISO 9001 as a means to your company’s continual improvement process, advancing your personal credentials or simply learning about applied process and systems thinking. It will prepare you to participate in teams carrying out internal audits in your company.
3 DAY SEMINAR
The 3 day introductory seminar will teach you to develop process based management systems that are sustainable, used by everyone in the organization, and result in continuous business improvement. Developing the document system for your management will seem a lot easier.
2 DAY SEMINAR
A special two day (week end) seminar will provide an overview and explain to management their responsibilities within a management system.
Corrective Action
In both the seminars students learn a team approach to identifying root causes and eliminating the causes. Root cause analysis leads to effective corrective action and ultimately to the management system progressing by preventing losses and accidents. At the core of any management system is the requirement to identifying problems in the system, prioritizing action on the problems using cost effective methods and (importantly) keeping the stakeholder interests in mind.
