I Thanks for taking a moment to read my Post...... Here is a bit about my current situation as well as myself...

I currently reside in California after retiring from the United States Navy Seals in Florida of 2005... After-wards I accepted employment with the Federal Government which was located in NJ and thought how ironic it was that I would end up in a place I grew up in because my desire to live there wasn't on the top of my list.

Never the less, I accepted and moved to NJ, after fulfilling the grace period I accepted another position that sent me to CA, then as luck would have it, I moved back to NJ, and once again back to CA... Can't keep up , lol ? Yes, that's me, lol, on the move, there were just circumstances that had me traveling back and forth and now I am looking to move back East to Arlington , VA.... I accepted a position with the Pentagon....

I transfer November 20Th, should be in VA around the 24Th... Hoping to find a place by December 1, since I will be starting my new job on the 5Th...

Aside from my work, here are some personal things.....

Although I am not exactly sure where to start this at and I believe that most would agree that it is difficult writing about yourself... However, I thought I'd start by what my Friends would say, well hopefully would say, lol, because in some sense, who we decide to make our Friends reflect the choices we make in Life... With that said , this is Me...

I am down to earth and out going, yet most times shy... Responsible yet at times forgetful on meaningless things... I recently purchased my dream motorcycle and enjoy riding the coast or anywhere the road leads me... I use to race dirt bikes and hopefully I will be able to pick that sport back up when I arrive there.

I don't have drama in my life and I would say that I am a pretty simple person, difficult to get to know at times, but overall, simple... I think life is truly too short to waist not doing what you want or going after your dreams... I respect a person's privacy, am neat and clean but won't do every dish.

I would be looking for something with a Garage to put my bike if possible... I am expecting to arrive the first week of December.. Hopefully sooner, I will find out very soon.. I can repair just about anything as well and if there are things needed to be accomplished I don't have a problem helping out in that respect...

Just a closing thought... I believe that there are many ties in Life that binds one stranger to another, often in friendship, sometimes in love, always in better understanding...

I absolutely need to have access to laundry, a laundromat just won't cut it and ditto with high speed internet...another must.

The housing is for myself, a female professional and my 5 year old daughter to share. We can share the same room as long as its not too small. We don't mind sharing the bathroom.

Also, we have a well behaved medium size dog, extremely friendly and submissive, not a dangerous breed, who is fully house broken, doesn't chew, barks only if a knock on the door or the doorbell rings (or if she hears it on the television--ha!) My dog loves kids and gets along with other dogs and cats. I love all animals so if you have some, the more the merrier.

An arrangement with utilities included is preferred so I can know what to expect.

I'd prefer to live with other females or a single mom with kids would be even better. I am open to working out an arrangement for part-time child care (evenings or weekends) or household care in exchange for a reduction in rent but this is not a requirement.

I prefer to live in Fairfax County with reasonable commuting distance to West Falls Church Metro as I work right at the Clarendon Metro area. My little girl attends daycare while I work.

I don't drink to get drunk and if I have a beer or a glass of wine at dinner its rare. I don't do drugs and have zero tolerance for such. I need to live with someone compatible in this respect.

A long term situation is preferred as my little girl is starting school next year and I don't want to bounce her around. I want to live in a safe neighborhood near a good elementary school.

My home is a lovely open 2 level, with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, within a 5 minute walk from the West Falls Church Metro stop on Washington DC's Orange Line. A quick subway ride will take you to the free Smithsonian museums, to art galleries, DC theatres, parks, great restaurants, the DC Zoo, etc - all that the DC area has to offer. From my home you can also walk to Starbucks, to restaurants (Indian, Thai, Afghan, Italian,...), to a grocery store, a bakery, a pharmacy, etc. The subway across the street will take you to/from National Airport, or there is a metro shuttle from the subway to Dulles Airport. There really is no need for a car while you're here.
