1105 Media seeks an experienced human resources generalist to provide a variety of HR-related duties to support our organizational goals. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: recruiting, employee relations, benefit administration, policy development and communication, and compliance with employment laws.
Job functions include:
◦Manage all aspects of recruiting – creating ads, screening, interviewing, reference checking
◦Assist and advise managers with employee relations
◦Develop and communicate corporate policies and procedures
◦Ensure compliance with employment laws and reporting requirements
◦Assist and advise employees in HR matters
◦Administer benefit plans and open enrollment process
◦Coordinate the performance appraisal process
◦Conduct new hire orientation/exit interviews
◦Write company newsletter to communicate corporate news and information
◦Arrange for temporary assistance through agencies when needed
◦Liaison with payroll department
◦Work on special projects as assigned by Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Minimum Requirements:
◦BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
◦Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist position
◦Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
◦Top notch communications skills, both written and verbal
◦Able to maintain high degree of confidentiality
◦Ability to communicate with all levels in an organization
◦Excellent organizational skills
◦Excellent customer service skills
◦PHR certification preferred
