A mid-sized IT Solutions and Management Consulting firm in Reston, VA is seeking a Full Life Cycle Recruiter / Team Lead to join its growing Recruiting team.

Job Description:

Apply your recruiting and client-handling skills in various functional areas, act as a recruiting consultant to support initiatives, and develop supervisory and leadership skills. Manage the day-to-day interaction with Program Managers and maintain responsibility for developing and implementing a recruiting strategy to support the team. Educate clients on market trends, provide guidance on compensation packages, and comprehend staffing requirements, including various functional and market areas within the Federal Government market. Perform interviews to assess candidate capabilities, manage the evaluation process and hiring decisions, provide follow-up and feedback to candidates, and extend and negotiate employment offer packages. Be responsible for complete and accurate completion of candidate files, from reference checks and applications to facilitation of drug and background check screening and security clearance processing. Promote the recruiting team's mission and objectives.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of experience with full life-cycle recruiting
• 3+ years of experience as a corporate recruiter in a government contracting environment
• 3+ years of experience using an Applicant Tracking System
• 3+ years of experience recruiting in an IT Solutions environment (experience in recruiting for new technologies, the ability to successfully identify candidates at all levels in the areas of Software and Application Development, Systems Engineering and Administration, Storage Engineering, Information Assurance and IT Security Compliance, and similar positions
• Some experience in recruiting for executive-level positions is preferred.
• Understanding of federal and state employment and labor laws and EEO compliance requirements and the ability to train others on these concepts and to develop and maintain compliant processes.
• Experience in an ISO-Certified environment is preferred.
• Ability to develop relationships with colleagues and client staff
• Ability to produce results in a rapidly-changing environment
• Ability to exhibit independent judgment when deciding priorities and procedures to follow
• Ability to provide consistent and high-quality service across the business
• Ability to solve problems of a sensitive nature
• Possession of excellent analytical skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
