I am a recruiter representing a rapidly growing professional services firm in the McLean VA area. Currently, the human resources function of the organization, is being handled by the consultants. They have grown to 60+ employees and are currently seeking a human resource professional to establish the HR function with in the organization. Must be willing to handle all aspects of the position and all levels of work. As the company continues to grow, you will be responsible for growing the department. Seeking a professional that is accustom to a like size operation in the professional services industry.

Primary responsibilities include:

-Develop, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures.
-Coordinate annual employee evaluations.
-Perform new employee orientations.
-Conduct exit interviews and tracks turnover.
-Perform benefit administration to include claims resolution, change reporting (etc.).
-Work with executive management to annually update the compensation program, rewrites the job descriptions as necessary, conducts annual surveys, etc.
-File official forms required to maintain compliance all applicable laws. (Multi-jurisdictional compliance is required).
-Responsible for employee development and morale efforts.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience.
-General knowledge of various employment laws & practices.
-Bachelors Degree Required.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Acute sensitivity to working with highly confidential/private information.
