Leonie is an international, woman-owned strategic communication company specializing in reaching target audiences in challenging locations with global media solutions including region-specific research and planning, worldwide media production and distribution, digital media and creative services, and cultural advisory services.
Leonie is looking for an energetic, highly motivated professional to serve as its Temporary Technical Recruiter for Strategic Communications, Information Operations, PSYOP and Public Affairs professionals. Will be responsible for delivering all facets of technical recruiting success. This will be achieved through the development of full life cycle recruiting to include: CONUS and OCONUS recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas to fill open opportunities in an efficient and timely manner. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. Please note that we currently anticipate that this role will last for three (3) months, possible longer.
Responsibilities include:
•Work with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings for technical positions
•Prioritize vacancies and provide weekly status updates
•Collect and manage applicant tracking data
•Create job descriptions
•Post new jobs using job boards, distribution emails, social media and transitional recruitment sites
•Source resumes for positions that are in accordance with business needs
•Prescreen , build a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of needs and provide a constant source of candidates for upcoming requirements
•Create a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
•Efficiently and effectively fill open positions in a timely manner
•Source Strategic Communication, Information Operation, PSYOP and Public Affairs professionals using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including but not limited to referrals, networking, internal database searches, online searches, Internet postings, job/career fairs, referrals, social media and user/technical groups
•Input candidates into proprietary database
•Establish relationships with diversity and veteran outreach organizations
Required Skills and Experience
•Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience in DoD government contracting within the Strategic Communications market
•Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
•Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
•Excellent phone and in-person interviewing and communication skills
•Demonstrated web search and/or applicant tracking database search skills
•Strong written and oral comprehension skills with a strong understanding of Military language/acronyms
•Ability to multitask
•Proficient with Word, Excel and the Internet
•Reliable, detail oriented, self-starter attitude
•Work schedule flexibility
•Knowledge of Applicant/EEO tracking compliance for government contractors
•Former military experience higher preferred
