AECOM seeks a proposal coordinator with at least two (2) years of USAID contracts experience to track and coordinate proposals for new business opportunities with major international development donors.  The position includes developing the master proposal calendar, supervising proposal team in meeting deadlines and ensuring that components meet AECOM quality standards.  This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Washington, DC, area.<br>

Key Responsibilities: <br>
•	Coordinate all aspects of new business proposals.<br>
•	Oversee proposal development from kick-off to final delivery.<br>
•	Develop proposal calendar and ensure deadlines are met.<br>
•	Ensure client requirements of each solicitation are fully satisfied.<br>
•	Quality control proposal documents and components prior to production.<br>

Qualifications:<br>
•	At least two (2) years of experience in new business development in international development industry (USAID, MCC, World Bank and other donors)<br>
•	At least two (2) years of USAID experience.<br>
•	Bachelor’s degree required.  Master’s preferred.  Or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.<br>
•	Knowledge of company’s main clients and their requirements.<br>
•	Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.<br>

RideCharge is looking for an experienced quality assurance engineer to join our agile application development team.  You will be responsible for manual and automated testing of our web application, BlackBerry application, and Windows Mobile Application (and anything else that pops up!).  You will also be responsible for managing the monthly (and sometime emergency) release process.  In the short term, you will also be responsible for managing temporary QA help.  In the long term, you will also be responsible for hiring, managing and growing our QA department.  We currently make extensive use of the WATIR automated testing framework.  <br>

<description><![CDATA[ The Animal Welfare League of Arlington, a non-profit, county contracted animal shelter in South Arlington, VA, is searching for one part-time Animal Care Technician. <br>
<br>
Animal Care Technicians, or ACTs, provide the hands-on care for all of the animals at the shelter, which houses about 20-130 cats, 15-20 dogs, and multiple small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, parakeets, etc.. <br>
<br>
The job involves a lot of cleaning. ACTs also feed, medicate, vaccinate, draw blood tests, and assess the general well being and health of the animals. They also must learn to euthanize animals deemed not adoptable for various reasons. <br>
<br>
The job requires a great love of animals. ACTs must have the ability work alone with minimal supervision and also the ability to work well with other members of the animal care staff and of the shelter staff, which totals about 30 people. ACTs must be able to read and write fluently and legibly.  Applicants must have some experience working with animals and be over 18 years of age. High school graduation or equivalent is required. ACTs  must learn to use the shelter's computer software and be able to understand and act upon complex directions.<br>
A sense of humor, serenity and a lot of patience are very helpful, as well as stick-to-it-ivness, that is, the ability to keep working when the job becomes tedious, smelly, sad, or generally trying. <br>
<br>
All staff receive a series of pre-exposure rabies vaccinations, hepatitis-B and tetanus vaccination.<br>
<br>
The part-time ACT will work 20 hours a week, the current need is for a person who can work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday,  from 7AM-2PM, though there is some flexibility with days and hours worked, especially for technicians who are attending college classes. The animal care staff covers shifts 7 days a week from 7AM until 10:30PM. Technicians usually work the same schedule and shifts once agreed upon, though there is occasional overtime available and requests for shift substitutes. <br>
<br>
Pay is based on the Arlington County minimum wage, which currently starts at $12.75/hr and is reviewed annually in July. The shelter offers benefits including paid vacation, sick leave, and retirement package to full-time employees, and pro-rated benefits to part-time employees.<br>

Function 2: Programming.
<br>
•	Program current and new databases in FileMaker, in a server-based environment.
<br>
•	Program database and web functionality in PHP, AppleScript, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other languages as necessary.

Function 3: Troubleshooting.
<br>
•	When staff experience difficulties with database access, determine the cause of the problem and implement a solution.

<description><![CDATA[DataSource, Inc., located in McLean, Virginia, is seeking candidates for the position of DBA.  DataSource is an IT product and services firm serving commercial and government customers since 1994, primarily in the DC metro area.  <br>
<br>
The successful candidate for this position will have at least 7 years of experience with MS SQL Server 2000 through 2005, and database administration of MS SQL Server installed under MS Windows Server 2003.  Skills in data analysis, modeling, performance profiling and tuning are essential, as well as experience working with either Erwin or MS Visio modeling tools.  Knowledge of MS Reporting Services is also desirable.<br>
<br>
The successful candidate must also have experience performing the following functions:<br>
<br>
„X	Installing, configuring, administering and securing MS SQL Server.<br>
„X	Troubleshooting performance issues and fine-tuning queries and stored procedures.<br>
„X	Implementing and administering database replication between SQL Server databases, as well as dissimilar databases.<br>
„X	Upgrading and upsizing databases from earlier versions to the latest versions.<br>
<br>
Additionally, some programming experience is desirable as follows:<br>
<br>
„X	Development using VB.NET under MS Visual Studio 2005<br>
„X	Creation and deployment of web services<br>
„X	Familiarity with WS* standards and WCF services.<br>
<br>
One or both of the following certifications is a plus:<br>
<br>
„X	Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (2008 if possible)<br>
„X	Microsoft Certified IT Professional Developer (MCITP) for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (2008 if possible)<br>

We are currently seeking an Account Director to oversee the full cycle of client campaigns. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in direct marketing, have proven leadership abilities, and be highly motivated to grow and excel with IDM.<br>
<br>
Primary Responsibilities include: <br>
     •	Campaign Management- Own and manage all aspects of media purchase planning<br>
     •	Circulation Planning – Use clients mailing history and campaign management tool to recommend circulation strategy to List Brokers<br>
     •	List/Market Research- Identify targeted prospect markets and recommend/present information to List Brokers and clients <br>
     •	Budget Tracking/Forecasting – Create and maintain an internal system for tracking information on clients’ sales performance, list response, and cost budgets<br>
     •	Client Relations – Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with current and prospective clients on a daily basis<br>
     •	Vendor Relations – Regular interaction with vendors to effectively position IDM’s needs and interests<br>
     •	10-15% travel <br>
<br>
Qualifications: <br>
     •	Minimum 3-5 years direct marketing experience required<br>
     •	Experience leading and managing multiple projects with little to no supervision <br>
     •	Proven experience with relationship building<br>
     •	Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills <br>
     •	Excellent verbal/written communication skills<br>
     •	Computer skills a must with a high proficiency in MS Excel <br>
     •	Bachelor’s degree – required <br>
