The ideal candidate will be an experienced prosecutor with substantial experience investigating and prosecuting child homicides, abusive head trauma, physical abuse, and criminal neglect. This position is located in Alexandria, Virginia, and a move to the DC Metro Area is required.

<b>Senior Attorney Responsibilities Include</b>
<br>
• Keep current on substantive issues concerning law, research, legislation and best practices
<br>
• Provide technical assistance to prosecutors and allied professionals on substantive child abuse topics, trial and investigative tactics and legislation
<br>
• Run national training programs, update these, and develop new programs in response to professionals needs
<br>
• Train multi-disciplinary audiences nationwide on child abuse issues
<br>
• Conduct and coordinate trial advocacy training
<br>
• Work in partnership with a national network of prosecutors and other professionals from allied fields
<br>
• Research and write on relevant law, substantive child abuse topics relevant to child abuse prosecutors and allied professionals in publications such as newsletters, law reviews, journal and other formats

• Contribute to the development of grant proposals
<br>
• Work with NCPCA attorneys and interns on development of technical assistance and training material

<b>Senior Attorney Requirements and Qualifications</b>
<br>
• J.D. and Bar membership
<br>
• 5 + years of criminal prosecution experience at the state or local level
<br>
• Demonstrated substantive and specialized knowledge and experience in criminal prosecution in the specified program area

• Demonstrated substantive experience investigating and prosecuting child homicides, abusive head trauma, physical abuse, and criminal neglect

• Significant jury trial experience
<br>
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

• The ability to interact with people from a wide range of professions and disciplines

• Strong research and writing skills

- Performing triage upon email ("Email Triage") vis-à-vis all email received by the Fujitsu Patent Center ("FPC") at its general email address, where Email Triage includes confirming/adding appropriate docket entries within/to a web-based IP docketing system corresponding to the content of email.  <br>
- Posting to web-based IP docketing system EFS Receipt and related documents concerning a given filing with the USPTO. <br>
- Reporting to client via email documents submitted to the USPTO. <br>
- Confirming, Clearing and/or Adding docket tasks in/to web-based IP docketing system corresponding to completed filings at the USPTO. <br>
- Rolling-forward docket tasks that otherwise are not automatically rolled forward by web-based IP docketing system. <br>

- Monitoring balance of funds in USPTO Deposit Account vis-à-vis daily and imminently incurred USPTO filing fees. <br>

Qualifications<br>
•	5+ years of professional Litigation Support Project Management experience. <br>

Responsibilities<br>
•	Communicate directly with client to accept new projects and setup processing requirements.<br>
•	Support Sales in product demonstrations, explanation of technical issues with clients.<br>
•	Responsible for running the e-discovery process using IPRO’s e-Capture software and for converting data/creating load files according to client deliverable requirements. <br>
•	Design databases with and for the client and act as the primary liaison with the client.<br>
•	Responsible for tracking billable units and hours on projects and generating accurate client invoices.<br>
•	Train clients and staff on litigation support software such as Concordance or IPRO.<br>

This role is responsible for preparing work permits and visas for travel and all immigration issues related to travel, expatriates, and relocations while managing relationships with internal and external personnel.<br>

Basic Function: <br>

Manage worldwide immigration program and provide related support to business operations with focus on three key areas: <br>

1) Managing the U.S. immigration program (including B/H/L/TN visas and green cards)  <br>
2) Handling work permits and visa documents for short and intermediate-term international travel for employees based in U.S. and abroad<br>
3) Managing immigration issues related to long-term international travel, expatriates, and permanent re-location for employees based in U.S. and abroad<br>

This role will be solely responsible for evaluating and improving the immigration processes to achieve operational objectives, maintain controls, assist customers, and ensure controllership and compliance with legal and business requirements as well as effectively manage relationships with employees, business partners and outside counsel. <br>

As the Immigration Manager your role will be to: <br>

•	Assure compliance by understanding and enforcing regulations <br>
•	Recommending new procedures and training <br>
•	Prepare non-immigrant visa petitions (H-1B, L-1, TN) throughout application process including extensions, amendments, transfers, and cancellations<br>
•	Complete required paperwork to file Green Card Petitions (Perm Labor Certification, I-140, 485 in EB1/EB2/EB3 category)<br>
•	Prepare, organize, and timely submit standardized, well-written, and error-free support/sponsor letters and all appropriate USCIS forms<br>
•	Provide and implement recommendations for ongoing audit compliance processes<br>
•	Partner with external counsel to administer program<br>
•	Handle a high volume of immigration-related matters<br>
•	Liaison to employees on immigration matters<br>
•	Manage a tracking database and monitor immigration cases to stay within filing deadlines<br>
•	Influence and manage business and government relations <br>

Description <br>
The American Society of Clinical Oncology, home to over 27,000 cancer doctors and researchers worldwide, is seeking a qualified Paralegal to work with the Vice President and General Counsel and Associate Counsels and various ASCO committees, and provide support on compliance and conflict of interest policies.  With goals of improving cancer care and prevention and ensuring that all patients with cancer receive care of the highest quality, ASCO offers an exciting and progressive work environment that is both meaningful and fast paced. <br>

Contribute your skills and credentials to the ASCO mission in these areas:<br>
<br>
Prepare, submit and track filings with regulatory agencies <br>
Prepare and process simple contracts and amendments; draft correspondence; handle document production for litigation<br>
Administer parts of and provide support on conflict of interest and compliance policies <br>
Establish and maintain files, reports, databases, and procedures on variety of Executive Office matters <br>
Perform legal and non-legal research, including conducting surveys of policies, tracking legislative and regulatory activity <br>
Draft memos, reports, and articles <br>
Coordinate with staff and volunteers of  committees including drafting papers, meeting materials, and minutes, and provide support at committee meetings<br>

To be successful you will need: <br>

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience<br>
An independent and dedicated work style<br>
Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products and experience conducting legal research using Lexis database<br>
Strong time management and organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities<br>
Two or more yearsof experience, preferably in a legal, policy, clinical, or academic setting related to the field of health or science<br>
Strong written and oral communication and teamwork skills<br>

<description><![CDATA[MBH Settlement Group is seeking experienced settlement processors for the northern Virginia area. Candidate should be able to communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, etc., to coordinate the preparation of closing paperwork for real estate settlements. Candidate will work independently and with other members of the team. Prefer experience with TSS software. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years’ processing experience, with emphasis on Short Sales and REO transactions.
