APT is looking for a part-time designer with a creative eye to join their marketing team. The individual will be responsible for design in the areas of print, web, and e-newsletters. Projects will include identifying appropriate stock imagery to communicate the targeted marketing messages, the design of postcards, creation of e-newsletter marketing templates, creation of website landing pages, and website updates and maintenance. This individual will brainstorm with the marketing team, as well as work individually; owning the project design from conception to completion.
Ideal Qualifications:
o Strong design background is desirable; portfolio must be submitted with application
o Experience required with HTML, Javascript, CSS, Photoshop, and InDesign (or comparable page layout program such as Quark).
o Highly motivated, self-directed professional
o Excellent communication skills
o Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast paced environment
o Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage project timelines
o Attention to detail and creativity in problem solving.
o Experience working on a PC platform and experience with ColdFusion are not required but a plus.
