We ate at tables next to each other super duper early before many patrons had arrived. You had an NPR podcast from Friday playing on some tiny IPOD speaker dock and we were both listening. The person being inteviewed described how nothing was constant, and how we needed to embrace discovery and doubt in order to find true happiness.
I thought looking into your deepest of hazel eyes was the secret to happiness, but you looked back with the confirmation that it WASN'T! merging with your brain to the extent required to embrace discovery and doubt seemed to be the message you were broadcasting.

So it looks like Craigslist has a glitch and I just saw this post from 11/06/08. I wish I would have seen this a year ago instead of now.

If this is who I think it is, How could you be sure that we are absolutely wrong for each other, when we barely know each other now, let alone 1 year ago. I suppose you thought I wasn’t interested because I ignored you and only talked to you about work projects or complained. I complained a lot and that was a mistake. I was in a weird place where I didn’t know what I wanted and you were a huge distraction for me because I felt the same way which is why I ignored you.

i hate drivers in nova, particularly suv operators but today i make a stunning exception. you were driving a silver (?) suv on the far left lane at around 4 p.m. on the way to fairfax. now, ordinarily, assholes use the far left lane, which everyone knows is about to end, to pass the rest of us waiting patiently in the middle lane, but today you disallowed a brown car asshole from passing the rest of us even though the lane was entirely open all the way til its end. you heroically sacrificed yourself by entering the far left lane and blocked said asshole from traveling any faster than the snail pace the rest of us had to endure. i'm still laughing now picturing how close brown car asshole got to slamming his car into the divider wall as he tried to enter the shoulder lane just to pass you...but you wouldn't let him. it was like watching a matador carefully control an enraged bull, brown car asshole really had lost his mind by the end of it. i tried to catch up to you to give you the thumbs up, it would've been the first non-middle finger i've ever given to a driver in my several years of driving experience, but naturally traffic was awful and i was unable to. speaking for the rest of us in the middle lane, i commend you for meting out justice and hope you'll continue to do so in the future.]]> 2009-11-12T16:38:07-05:00 en-us Copyright © 2009 craigslist, inc. http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mis/1463250946.html text 2009-11-12T16:38:07-05:00 http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mis/1463238568.html i do know that im to shy to start anything but id be delighted if youd approach me.
