Position Title: Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Position Type: Full Time- Temporary / Permanent TBD
Salary: $10-13 / Hourly
Desired Start Date: December 2009
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen
Education: Associate’s Degree desired, HS Diploma required
Schedule: Standard business hours are from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The ideal candidate should possess:
1. Prior experience working as a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant.
2. A professional demeanor and appearance suitable for dealing with clients and professional staff.
3. A demonstrated punctuality and dependability record.
4. A positive attitude/can do approach, be a self starter and has the ability to self manage time efficiently and can multi-task.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Outstanding organizational skills.
7. Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).

The specific job functions are:
1. Be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors and couriers by creating a welcoming and professional environment in the reception area.
2. Answer all main line telephone calls and direct them courteously to the appropriate staff.
3. Accept shipments from UPS & Federal Express and notify the appropriate person of their arrival.
4. Sort and distribute incoming mail on a daily basis. Manage outgoing mail on a daily basis.
5. Maintain inventory and order stationary, general/business office supplies, etc.
6. Scan and archive corporate records.
7. Keep reception, conference, kitchen and common areas clean.
8. Perform accounting data entry; assist with daily accounting functions and with financial/accounting month end tasks.
9. Provide assistance to other staff at all levels with routine clerical tasks and various/special projects.
10. Arrange for company lunches and/or catered conference room events.
