$400 Young Professional Seeks Temporary Summer Room (Alexandria, surrounding)
I am seeking a room in the VA/DC area for a few months in the summer. I'm looking to move in the 23rd, but I'm very flexible with the move in and move out dates. I will be splitting time b/w this home and my parent's home in MD. I am a young professional who graduated from the University of Illinois 4 years ago. I have been working in San Diego for the past few years. I've also done some consulting work (Electrical Engineer) in Pasadena and San Francisco. I grew up in Maryland and I'm really excited about returning to the area for a government position in Alexandria. I would like to be within 15 miles of work. I will be splitting time between this room and my parent's home in MD until I find my own place.
I'm very clean and courteous, and ask the same in the roommates (if there will be any). I don't mind housesitting or helping out with watering gardens and feeding pets while you're gone. I'm asking for cheap rent b/c of the short term situation -- I always subletted my apartment for half my rent during my summers in college b/c I knew how difficult it is to find a short term leasee.
