NetWitness Corporation is seeking a Security Product Engineer. The candidate could potentially have one or more of the following duties:

* Obtain a complete understanding of the Netwitness product suite
* Develop, implement and maintain product management documentation to support sales, marketing, and product certifications/evaluations.
* Identify, plan, and manage product needs and detailed technical requirements for a suite of network security products.
* Test, document and prototype product use cases to support research, sales and product development.
* Contribute and maintain internal requirement tracking systems
* Research supporting, complimentary and competitive technology
* Communicate product management materials to internal and external audiences

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
The candidate must have excellent communication, documentation, and problem solving skills. The candidate must be a self-starter and complete tasks with moderate supervision.

The candidate should have an engineering mentality and strong desire to understand how complex networking systems operate in the real world and the business acumen to understand how risks manifest themselves in complex networked environments.

They must also have an affinity for operating in an extremely technical environment. A strong knowledge of networking concepts will assist the candidate in developing creative and comprehensive materials. The candidate must also be comfortable in a dynamic, fast moving and innovative environment.

A working knowledge of computer networking, intrusion detection, security analysis, security engineering, unix and windows scripting, databases, web development, and hardware engineering are knowledge assets the candidate would benefit to have comfort with.

Other skills that are valuable, but not required:
Common Criteria/FIPS/SCAP Product Evaluation Experience
Network Security IDS/IPS/SIEM

Educational Requirements
BS in Technical Degree or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience
