A fast-growing company in Reston, VA is looking to hire an enthusiastic full-time senior-level Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Architect.
US Citizenship is required and you must be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC Metro area.
Candidates must have:
• at least 8 years of experience designing and overseeing execution of automated software test systems for web-based applications.
• experience developing home-grown solutions or customizing open-source software products in addition to using any off-the-shelf tools.
We're looking for candidates with expertise in the following technical areas:
• automated testing with shell scripting, groovy, jmeter, winrunner, silk test and/or perl;
• functional web application testing with Selenium, Windmill, or similar framework;
• web application development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and test-supporting technologies (XML, XPath, Regexp);
• application load-testing with Grinder, JMeter, or similar tools;
• VMWare virtualization for testing environments
... and the following non-technical areas:
• high-level work integrating QA with project design & development process,
• incorporating unit testing and general experience working in Agile development environment,
• good communication skills and ability to promote cooperative work environment with engineering team
