We are seeking a hands-on Consultant interested in joining a rapidly growing organization. The Consultant will have the unique opportunity to create sound relationships with our customers as they successfully implement and deliver the Clarabridge solution at each customer location. He/she will be expected to contribute substantive insight/action with regard to requirements identification, deliverable creation, installation, configuration, and ultimate satisfaction of the customer with the Clarabridge solution. This position will require travel in excess of 25-50%.
Specific responsibilities include:
Working closely with the customer to successfully identify, document, and delivery the customers’ requirements.
Managing scope, schedule, priorities and risks associated with the projects at each customer location.
Responsible for the successful deployment and strategic use of Clarabridge technology for prospects and customers. Responsible for installing, configuring, optimizing, and customizing Clarabridge on customer sites for production and proof-of-concept deployments.
Ability to find creative ways to accomplish customer/prospect requirements and deliver value without relying on existing product features, including implementing temporary extensions to the core product where necessary.
Craft effective client presentations and/or training materials that are adapted to each client’s needs. These deliverables should clearly articulate the Clarabridge product value proposition being provided
Establish strong relationships with clients at all levels by tactfully creating meeting opportunities, demonstrating superior listening skills and by building credibility/trust by delivering what has been promised within timeframes established
Build solid partnerships across multiple internal functions including; Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Service Teams.
Contribute to project schedule creation and maintenance.
Develop expertise with the Clarabridge features, functions, installation, configuration, and technical architecture.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of a set of delivery team “best practice” materials and “tool-kits”.
Travel to various client locations around the country as needed to ensure proper implementation and delivery of the Clarabridge solution.
Qualifications:
• BS or MS degree from top school with computer science or related focus.
• 4+ years of experience in implementation and delivery of software solutions at customer locations.
• 2+ years experience with SQL/4GL (PL/SQL/TSQL) and data warehousing schema design.
• Strong understanding and experience of Database structure.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Cognos, Business Objects, or MicroStrategy.
• Ability to modify and implement ETL scripts.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; utilizing these skills both internally and externally with a strong customer focus is a MUST.
• Experience and reliability with the proper communication with internal and external stakeholders as it relates to status.
• Significant experience identifying and documenting software requirements from various customer stakeholders (functional users and technical users) and finding creative ways to delivery them.
• Strong project management skills.
• Understanding of the Business Intelligence space; knowledge of text mining a plus.
