Job Description:
We currently have an immediate position available for a dedicated onsite JAVA/J2EE developer with a TS/ISSA clearance. Candidates must be familiar with the entire software development lifecycle and be familiar with solving complex application development problems. We are looking for a senior level programmer that has proven experience with web presentation technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and XML. Responsibilities will include hands on design, coding, refactoring and testing of software applications to meet specific business processes in a highly dynamic work environment. Candidates must be competent to work on most phases of activities independently and require only general direction and minimum supervision. This position may require the programmer to provide both technical assistance and training to their peers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 11-15 year’s software development experience with current experience with Java/J2EE web applications
• Solid experience with AJAX, JavaScript, XML, JSON, DOM, CSS, HTML, XSLT
• Proficient in the design and development of service layer components in a Service Oriented Architecture
• Experience with Oracle Database Administration and application development, PL/SQL, and JDBC
• Experience in full-lifecycle software development with experience using Agile development methodology
• Application performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• TS/ ISSA clearance

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with the following tools: Eclipse, Selenium, TeamStudio.
• Experience with application frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, and Struts
• Knowledge of Office of Security Business Processes; Knowledge of ABS technical standards, Apache Tomcat, BEA Weblogic; Webservices xfire/cxf; ClearCase, ClearQuest

Responsibilities:

• Perform requirements analysis, detailed design, and develop software documentation.
• Write necessary code; Ensure interoperability with other applications; Provide extensive technical advice and guidance to applications developers and other members of the team
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and perform code refactoring.
• Provides technical direction to project managers as required ensuring project deadlines are met.
