Job Description:
We currently have an immediate position available for a short term onsite PostgreSQL
Database Administrator with a TS/ISSA clearance. The successful candidate
will perform as a DBA in a small team environment supporting the design,
development and deployment of a new database in a fast paced environment.
The candidate will provide all database administration activities ranging
from initial requirements gathering to system design and implementation activities.
Responsibilities include performing initial installation, setting user security,
monitoring performance and maintaining backups. May be required to evaluate
and recommend new hardware, software, and testing procedures. Candidates
should be proficient in developing project plans and have experience with
common data modeling techniques. The candidate will also be required to produce
administration manuals and programmers references.
