A rapidly growing Washington, DC based firm and highly recognized social media leader transforming the healthcare industry, is actively pursuing a Junior Business Systems Analyst.
This is full-time position and a chance to be part of a team that is driving the innovation envelope on a web services product that has significant real-world impact!
The ideal candidate should be comfortable supporting a variety of business systems functions. An understanding of social media platforms and experience supporting agile software development is strongly desired. Previous exposure to medical systems, activity with health care communities or an understanding of health related nomenclature and terminology is preferred.
The Business Analyst responsibilities will include:
• Gathering business and functional requirements
• Preparing functional designs and technical specifications
• Performing complex data analysis tasks
• Preparing test plans & scripts and executing test cases
• Developing training and product marketing materials
• Providing system support and troubleshooting as needed
• Working closely with clients and partners to support system integration efforts
Candidates should be self-sufficient, intuitive, and have the ability to react quickly in a highly dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a high level of enthusiasm and dedication to teamwork. This position requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 - 5 years of post college business experience, preferably in a systems analyst or functional analyst role. Candidates with more than 5 years of work experience should not apply. The candidate must be articulate and have excellent analytical, communication and computer skills (including MS Office – PPT, Excel & Word). The candidate must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
