Job Description
Our Client is seeking individuals with strong information technology (IT) security backgrounds and a desire to provide consulting services for our clients in multiple industry sectors. Your primary focus will be serving Aerospace & Defense clients, though you may also have opportunities to serve clients in other sectors. As a Senior Analysis in the Technology Practice, you will provide advisory (consulting) services focused on IT security services including security strategy and planning; and threat and vulnerability management. We require self-motivated individuals that are driven to excel in the field of information security. Although projects will typically require working within a team of professionals, senior associates are expected to be able to operate as independent subject matter experts within their domains of expertise.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be able to clearly articulate a passion for information security, and have
the following qualifications:
- 3 -7 years of information security experience, including demonstrated subject matter specialization in one or more of the following domains:
- Threat and Vulnerability Management
- Security operations (e.g., monitoring security devices, administering firewalls/IDS, secure network design)
- Security testing (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, configuration reviews, C&A)
- Threat identification Vulnerability management
- Security Incident Response
- Response planning
- Active response activities (e.g., triage, containment)
- Forensic evidence acquisition
- Forensic investigation (e.g., filesystem analysis, volatile memory analysis)
- Security Strategy
- Aligning security strategy with business goals and compliance drivers
- Security organization design
- Multi-year security planning
- In addition, candidates should possess the following qualities:
- Demonstrated understanding of the business context in which information security functions operate
- Ability to work independently (i.e., to be relied upon as a security subject matter specialist within your domains of expertise), as well as within a dynamic team environment Experience leading small groups / workstreams
- Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

- General knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry
- Relevant experience assisting with proposal development and presentations

Security Requirements:
Applicants will be subject to above requirements, and must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor degree required, preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
- Relevant professional affiliations and certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC series) are highly desirable

- Compensation: $45-$50/hr
