The IT Support Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support of Barceló Crestline and Crestline Hotels & Resorts computer users. May also conduct one-on-one training as needed as well as participating in the introduction of new technologies to the Barceló Crestline and Crestline Hotels & Resorts User Community. Someone who wants to join a very progressive company. A person who enjoys creating the IS/MIS structure.
Experience in a multi-system environment
Familiarity w/Microsoft networking technology essential
Experience w/Cisco and Juniper internetworking highly desirable
Familiar with help desk/support desk operations and standards including service level agreements and call tracking
Able to work flexible hours when needed
Position will be responsible for directing the following departments: Oversees Corporate and hotel based systems(Hardware/Software, Connectivity), Problem determination and resolution
Requires a minimum of 3-5 year(s) of experience.
In preparing for this position candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: Microcomputer experience supporting Microsoft Windows NT/2003 Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2003, Office and other office productivity applications
Properties supervised include both limited and full-service hotels.
Technical Requirements:
Provide overall direction in hardware and software selection and maintenance.
See that vendors are accountable for agreed upon installations and support.
Good understanding of Internet and how company and properties can use it to generate revenues.
Develop and provide systems training, in laymen terms, for corporate office and properties.
Negotiate as much free training from vendors as possible.
Closely interface with Corporate/Franchise IS staff.
Research and recommend systems upgrades.
