The selected candidate will be responsible for product demonstrations, identifying client needs, designing proposed systems, contributing to proposals, presenting and recommending solutions, deploying solutions, and supporting customers.
Duties
Be able to lead presentations and demonstrations to customers
• Provide technical advice to customers on best practices for utilizing our products to meet their specific needs.
• Be directly involved in proposals, including providing recommendations and written contributions.
• Effectively plan and manage multiple projects.
• Easily interface with all levels and departments within the organization.
• Effectively and easily communicate with the customer to effectively analyze business needs and gather technical requirements.
• Installation and configuration of customer systems.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Address complex questions, overcome complex technical objections and help manage the technical portion of the sales cycle.
• Provide customers with technical product advice and support throughout the sales process.
• Architect solutions that address customer requirements and manage the technical aspects of the relationship.
• Configure demo equipment for shows and events.
• Provide implementation and post-sales support as needed.
• Some travel (mostly regional) may be required.
Requirements:
It is critical for this individual to have a high degree of technical proficiency and an ability to quickly understand customers' business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency in the following areas:
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role working with clients and sales support
• A broad knowledge of software development technologies and client/server, multi-tiered, distributed architecture frameworks
• Operating Systems: Unix, Linux and Windows systems administration functions
• Programming: C, C++, Java, HTML
• Successful technical/proposal writing experience
• System/solution architecture experience
• Prior experience providing support and designing solutions is required.
• Prior experience presenting complex technical solutions to customers is preferred.
• Experience crafting complex solutions and developing proposals and RFP responses is required.
• Advanced technical presentation skills are required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field is required.
• Knowledge/experience with human language processing and understanding technologies a plus.
• Current TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred
