I have about 80 pieces of used tile that were just removed from my kitchen. Instead of just dumping them in the landfill, I'd like to see if there are any persons that could reuse them in any manner...art students, maybe break them down and use as concrete fill, target practice, possible outdoor projects. I am told it's basically impossible to reuse tile, but these are in incredible condition.
They were, I recently found out, wrongly put down directly on top of the linoleum flooring, so they came up very easy and without any damage. The pictures may
look like they are all messed up, but that's just the grout pealing away and thinset underneath. If you are looking to use these in your house as tile, good luck, thinset doesn't really come off (unless you know something I don't). This all started with an icemaker leak, the tile started coming up, so now I have a new floor and have all these left over pieces.
MUST TAKE AT LEAST HALF, IF NOT ALL! Again, there are approximately 80 pieces, 13" X 13" tiles, pictured below.
These are the actual tiles (brand, line & color) that have been installed. The tiles available are exactly the same except for a slightly different pattern (again, the free ones were bought about one year ago, so they don't exactly match to what was in the market today)
email me if you are serious and I will give you the address to come by and pick up, I may or may not be home.. doesn't matter, they are outside.
I am located in West Springfield.
ps the original 'value' of these was around $1K
