The current direction of the nation is NOT sustainable.
Higher and higher numbers of unemployed, whether or not they can get "benefits",
are NOT going to add to the federal "take".

That means higher taxes for all those who still have a job. Higher taxes on
any business or corporation means fewer employed people. When the guvamint
raises taxes, commerce of all types slows. Slower commerce means less
federal "take". Less federal take, means more taxes for those who still have a job.

It snowballs folks! It is clearly out of control at this moment!

On top of that, we have a leader that does not care! There is no trust in
this guy who has no idea what makes the economy function. And nobody
trusts this guy with the future! There is no trust in him, his actions, his
knowledge, his czars and all the other hoodlums who now hold positions of
power.

You don't have to be educated, or liberal, or conservative to know in your
gut that something terrible is happening. We have voted emotionally and
have been sold a bag of crap. Everybody knows there is no trust in this
current administration to do anything logical and sound!

We're gong down folks! The bus has left the cliff! That's why its gotten
so smooth and quiet! Not because the bus has stopped on the road, but
because we're in free-fall. The stop IS going to happen, for certain.

In the first place General McChrystal stepped out line and out of the chain of command by making public statements about his "desire" for more troops.This was a big red flag, as it was clearly an attempt to force the President into making a decision to send 40000 more troops or face ridicule and embarrassment.
If I were the President I would have had the General replaced and court marshalled.
This demand by McChrystal for more troops could be legitimate....but it could also be that McChrystal wants his place in the history books regardless of cost(of life).
In my opinion 40000 troops will not do the job and only serves to put more of our people in harms way.
We must either ask NATO allied countries to each commit 50000 troops for a campaign to encircle the territory with 1/2 a million soldiers and get this done with...or we plan to leave with what is left of our hides.
We either do it full on or we leave.Otherwise we'll be there for another fruitless decade and a few trillion dollars deeper in the hole.

Why Isn�t the H1N1 Pandemic Flu Being Investigated as a Designed Bioweapon?

Strange as it may seem, in an era of heightened concern about biological terrorism, there appears to be little or no talk about the triple-reassortant H1N1 pandemic flu virus as a laboratory-designed bioweapon.

Certainly, this is not out of the question technologically. It is now entirely possible for scientists to artificially re-create an infectious agent from scratch. Researchers have demonstrated that a polio virus can be reduced to a chemical, C332,652H492,388N98,245O131,196-P7501S2340, and assembled by following its written genetic code. (Viruses are not live organisms, they are sequences of genes that must rely upon entry into a host cell nucleus to utilize the cell�s genetic mechanisms for reproduction.) When a synthetically-created polio virus was introduced into the spinal cords of mice it created the same paralysis seen in polio.1

The synthesis of flu viruses became more than a possibility in 1999 when researchers demonstrated it was possible to overcome the previously insurmountable problem of arranging eight segments of RNA. This was accomplished by generation of RNA using an enzyme, RNA polymerase, essentially creating a cloned flu virus.2

Fear spreads faster than the flu

Certainly imagined rather than factually-based fear is at the core of concern over this H1N1 pandemic flu outbreak. Tuberculosis, another infectious disease, globally kills nearly 2 million every year, compared to 250,000�500,000 from the flu, but a $9 billion effort to eradicate it is not mounted against TB as has occurred with the 2009 "swine flu."

The late�flu season introduction of the pandemic, starting in Mexico in March of 2009, creates a similar frightening scenario to the 1918 Spanish flu outbreak that killed millions worldwide. If an engineered virus, its late-season introduction could be evidence of an intentional effort to panic human populations.

If designed, it was intended to spread, not kill. It lacks the PB1-F2 marker for pathogenicity (tissue damage) seen in the dreaded but poorly transmitted H5N1 bird flu virus that drew concern in 2003.3 Yet, in vulnerable individuals, those with pre-existing disease or smokers or pregnant females, there is a greater (though still small) risk of death.

Wishy-washy origins

Researchers attempt to explain that this unique flu virus "was derived from several viruses circulating in swine, and that initial transmission to humans occurred several months before recognition of the outbreak." Without evidence in hand, the world community of virologists concluded that this virus "emerged from a triple reassortant virus circulating in North American swine." Yet no mass culling of herds of swine was called for.6

The swine origin of this flu is nonsense since no swine herds exhibited this virus till detection months following the initial flu outbreak in Mexico, suggesting it was transmitted from humans to pigs, not the other way around. Using pigs as a cover for the true origin of the disease also suggests a broad cover-up within the community of microbiologists and public health authorities.

For factual documentation, the first detection by the US Department of Agriculture of H1N1 pandemic influenza in pigs in the US occurred between August 26 and September 1 at the Minnesota State Fair, almost 6 months after the first case in Mexico.4

However, this fact was not revealed till months later, claimed to be an effort to protect US pig farmers when their business had already been destroyed by association of this flu virus with flu strains commonly found in swine herds.5

Researchers go on to say, in a confusing and inexplicable fashion, that "a phylogenetic estimate of the gaps in genetic surveillance indicates a long period of unsampled ancestry before the swine-flu outbreak, suggesting that the reassortment of swine lineages may have occurred years before emergence in humans, and that the multiple genetic ancestry of this swine flu is not indicative of an artificial origin."6

Here is intentional wording to dismiss any thought of an engineered virus. Yet the authors of this report are suggesting the many flu-monitoring stations across the globe completely missed detection of this virus as it mutated and re-assorted into its current form. Yet there has been no call to check for flaws in classifying viral strains which would have obviously occurred.

These researchers go on to say, that without samples of its ancestors, the immediate origin of this flu strain is difficult to determine. The closest relatives to this flu strain existed between 9.2 and 17.2 years ago, "depending upon the genetic segment" analyzed. Investigators claim it must have been circulating in pigs "for several years" before emergence in humans.6

Its Asian-origin flu strain segments lead researchers to blame the movement of pigs between Eurasia and North America for its unique viral re-assortment. Yet shipment of swine herds is one way, from North America to Asia, and there are quarantine periods so that new arrivals don�t infect an existing herd. Influenza lasts only a few days and quarantine methods would eliminate any transfer to another herd. Unlike humans, pigs produce their own vitamin C and swine herd flu outbreaks are typically mild and not mortal.

Warning of influenza as a bioweapon

In 2003 researchers at the Center for Biosecurity and Public Health, University of Texas�Houston Health Center, Houston, Texas, warned that influenza could be made into a bioweapon to produce disease and death of major proportion. Unlike other biological threats like anthrax, influenza only requires 3 to 6 airborne viral particles, 27,000 times fewer viral particles than obtained by direct contact (hands) to produce infection. In 1�4 days, its incubation period, it can start replicating and producing symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting and coughing serious enough for hospitalization and use of a respirator. Its victims often succumb to a sudden mortal heart attack, which does not directly end up on statistical health summaries as flu-related death.7

Once a flu pandemic has begun it is difficult to halt because immunization after exposure to the flu is not protective, and anti-flu drugs (Tamiflu, Relenza) must be administered before symptoms develop or within the first 48 hours after their appearance. Early on, flu symptoms may appear similar to other biological threats like anthrax, so it is difficult to ascertain that a human population is under an intentional biological attack.8

Flu viruses evolve to protect humanity?

Jeffery K. Taubenberger, M.D., Ph.D. Senior Investigator in National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases, and Anthony S. Fauci, M.D., Director of that Institute, say theH1N1 pandemic flu is afourth-generation descendantof the 1918 virus.

This virus caused an explosiveand historic pandemic, during which humans also transmittedthe virus to pigs, they concede. Taubenberger and Fauci take evolutionary theory to the height of its absurdity by stating:

"� successive pandemics and pandemic-likeevents generally appear to be decreasing in severity over time.This diminution � may reflect viral evolutionary�choices� that favor optimal transmissibility with minimal pathogenicity � a virus that kills its hosts or sends them to bed isnot optimally transmissible."

Huh? We�ve heard of "survival of the fittest," and "natural selection" (where heritable traits make it more likely an organism will survive and successfully reproduce itself), but here we have a new and novel definition of evolution � the flu virus genome is selecting against its own survival in preference to survival of humans!8

How a tailored flu virus would be produced

In 2003 Robert M. Krug, writing in the journal Antiviral Research, wrote a landmark report entitled "The potential use of influenza virus as an agent for bioterrorism." Krug said:

"If such a lethal human influenza A virus does not emerge in nature, it is likely that it can be generated in the laboratory, utilizing the recently developed reverse genetic system, whereby influenza viruses can be generated by transfection (a process of introducing nucleic acids into cells) of multiple DNAs."15

This can be accomplished by transiently opening pores or holes in the cell membrane to allow entrance of viral particles. In fact, the deadly H5N1 bird flu virus (kills 6 in 10 infected humans) has already been generated in at least one laboratory at the University of Wisconsin using this reverse genetic system.9

This topic was covered in my LRC article entitled "The Deadliest Flu Virus In The World."10

Krug writes:

"There is every reason to believe that the same recombinant DNA techniques can be used to render this H5N1 virus transmissible from humans to humans. Furthermore, it should be possible to introduce mutations into such a recombinant virus so that it is resistant to currently available influenza virus antivirals (M2 inhibitors: amantadine and rimantadine; and NA inhibitors: zanamivir and oseltamivir-Tamiflu and Relenza), and so that it is unlike�. recently circulating human viruses. In fact, several viruses (at one time) � could be generated. The human population would lack immunological protection against such viruses, existing antiviral drugs would not afford any protection, and these viruses could be spread simply by release of an aerosol spray in several crowded areas."15

In this instance, if the current H1N1 pandemic flu virus was engineered, it was designed to be vulnerable to Tamiflu and Relenza, but not amantadine and rimantadine. With the current delay in delivery of the vaccine, one wonders if this whole pandemic hasn�t been engineered to deplete aging stocks of Tamiflu that nations have been piling up in anticipation of "the big one" � the supposed long-overdue "great flu pandemic."

The question is, could there be some villainous bioterrorist in some foreign country who has the capability of covertly starting a flu virus in a remote village in Mexico, and only infect one child there, and then see it spread around the world? If so, this flu pandemic actually petered out by July of 2009, as CBS News uncovered, but re-emerged in the following months as the dominant strain of flu virus in circulation.11

Pandemic flu strains predominates

Was this pandemic strain of the flu re-introduced or re-engineered at that time, to make it more prevalent?

The current strain of the flu in circulation as of the first week in November 2009 is 99% H1N1 pandemic strain. The seasonal flu strains have vanished. There is no need to undergo vaccination for seasonal flu. Health authorities knew some time ago that the H1N1 pandemic flu strain overwhelms seasonal flu strains. The exact date of that discovery is unclear because we only have the date of publication of that discovery. The first evidence for this was produced some time earlier.12

Whether a biological terrorist re-introduced the H1N1 strain into North American human populations after it was fizzling out in July is certainly speculation, but is a question that needs asking.

Laboratory origin: no amateur bioterrorists

Krug goes on to say:

"It can be argued that most terrorists would not have the knowledge, facilities and ingenuity to carry out these recombinant DNA experiments. This is probably the case at the present time, but the situation can be expected to change in the future, perhaps after as little as 5�10 years."15

Currently there is no revealed intelligence that there is a nefarious bioterrorist at large developing pandemic flu viruses. If the current pandemic flu strain in circulation was designed in a laboratory, it would likely be a university or military lab, just as the origin of anthrax was traced back to the Army lab at Fort Detrick in Maryland.13

We should also not forget that the news media repeatedly attempted to distract the public as to the real origins of the anthrax, falsely suggesting the bentonite additive found in the anthrax samples, spread in the ventilation ducts at offices of US Congressmen in Washington DC, originated in Iraq, the only country known to use that additive. A false connection was being made between the anthrax and Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein by ABC chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross on October 26, 2001, shortly following the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York.14 So the public should be wary of the news media that may be complicit with other sources to create politically-correct conclusions as to the origin of the H1N1 swine flu.

Vaccination strategy is inherently flawed

Krug goes on to say:

"Vaccination will probably be of limited value against an influenza virus bioterrorist attack. Currently it takes about 6 months to prepare a vaccine against a new influenza virus strain. Perhaps reverse genetic approaches can shorten this time somewhat, but there will still be a few months between an influenza virus outbreak and the availability of a protective vaccine. In addition, the vaccine approach can be readily thwarted by bioterrorists who could spread several influenza viruses with different HA antigenic sites."15

So the current effort to control influenza, largely being centered on vaccination, is flawed and should be curtailed. Of course, that is not what is being played out in the currently unfolding vaccine drama

Only antivirals are left in defense

Krug then says: "In contrast, antiviral drugs that are directed at functions shared by all influenza A virus strains constitute the best line of defense against a bioterrorist attack. Currently the NA (neuraminidase) inhibitors (zanamivir and oseltamivir-Tamiflu and Relenza) are the only such antivirals available."15

Stockpiles of anti-viral drugs, which now proliferate across the globe, could become useless due to limited shelf life. So far, manufacturers have been testing and extending the shelf life of their anti-viral products. The World Health Organization holds 2 million treatment courses of Tamiflu and another 3 million courses are held in stock by Roche as part of their rapid response stockpile.16

Anti-virals are somewhat effective in prophylaxis of the flu, but over-use of these anti-viral drugs induces viral resistance.17

It is interesting to note that 99.6% of the 2008 seasonal flu strains were resistant to Tamiflu.18 To move Tamiflu off of shelves, the seasonal flu had to vanish, which is exactly what has occurred. This suggests aerosol flu viruses are being seeded into the population to create designed flu pandemics.

As mentioned earlier in this report, the H1N1 pandemic flu now in circulation has virtually overtaken all other flu strains, as if by design, in an apparent attempt to deplete the millions of doses of Tamiflu whose shelf life expires in 2009�2010. The US has a stockpile of over 50 million doses to clear off its shelves that outdates soon.19

Vaccine makers, government, presage the pandemic

For unexplained reasons, in 2008 the manufacturer of Tamiflu in Japan projected a 531% increase in sales in 2009, as if presaging the flu pandemic now underway.20

Has this whole flu escapade, its late-season onset, the otherwise inexplicable delays in delivery of the vaccine, been staged to dump millions of nearly-outdated Tamiflu pills on the world masses who have been whipped up into flu hysteria?

On June 27, 2008, nearly 8 months prior to the first reports of the H1N1 pandemic flu emanating out of Mexico, the maker of Tamiflu began urging companies to buy stockpiles of their product, a sales effort that was endorsed by the Department of Health & Human Services. This suggests massive collusion between the makers of anti-viral drugs and public health authorities in staging this pandemic.

On June 27, 2008, a deputy secretary for the Department of Health & Human Services is quoted as saying: "I think the (Tamiflu) program is unprecedented in that we are facing an unprecedented threat."21 Exactly which unprecedented flu threat was this government employee talking about at the time?

Wall Street is doing to America what private equity firms did to Simmons Bedding and many other productive companies. Taking control with borrowed money, stripping assets, slashing jobs and cashing out.

Taxpayer bailouts saved Wall Street from choking on its own greed. Now, as the Wall Street Journal reports, �Major U.S. banks and securities firms are on pace to pay their employees about $140 billion this year � a record high.�

$140 billion is more than the combined budgets of the U.S. Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, the National Science Foundation and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Typical workers, meanwhile, make less today adjusting for inflation than they did in the 1970s. Wall Street rewarded CEOs who cut employee wages and benefits and offshored manufacturing, services, and research and development; feasted on Bush�s tax cuts; turned mortgages into loan sharking; and vacuumed up home equity, college funds, retirement funds and other private and public investments into their rigged casino.

Goldman Sachs, for example, �peddled billions of dollars in shaky securities tied to subprime mortgages on unsuspecting pension funds, insurance companies and other investors when it concluded that the housing bubble would burst,� McClatchy reports in a new investigative series.

The Great Depression gave way to the New Deal. The Great Recession has become the Great Ripoff.

The TARP inspector general�s latest report to Congress says, �The firms that were �too big to fail� � are in many cases bigger still, many as a result of Government-supported and -sponsored mergers and acquisitions; the inherently conflicted rating agencies that failed to warn of the risks leading up to the financial crisis are still just as conflicted; and the recent rebound in big bank stock prices risks removing the urgency of dealing with the system�s fundamental problems.�

Enabled by the Bush and Obama administrations, the megabanks are lending less and gambling more � using taxpayer money to pay bonuses, float a new stock market bubble and make even riskier bets.

The U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve have become Wall Street�s ATMs, while unemployment, foreclosures and homelessness rise, states slash public services, and small businesses are starved of credit.

Outside the TARP, trillions of dollars are flowing to the banksters in the form of near-zero interest loans, bond guarantees and extreme leverage for toxic assets. The megabanks are not too big to fail. They�re too big and irresponsible to exist.

Just months after taking office in 1933, President Roosevelt signed into law the Glass-Steagall Act, which separated the commercial banking of savings, checking and loans from investment banks doing underwriting and speculative trading. The former got depositor insurance, not the latter.

Glass-Steagall lasted until Citigroup and other power players killed it in 1999 through the Financial Services Modernization Act, taking us back to the pre-New Deal casino economy on steroids. Now former Citigroup CEO John Reed has joined the growing call to split commercial banking and investment.

In 2000, Congress passed the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, ignoring the warnings of Commodity Futures Trading Commission head Brooksley Born who said that unregulated trading in derivatives could �threaten our regulated markets or, indeed, our economy.�

By 2002, the four largest bank holding companies � Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Citigroup � had 27 percent of FDIC-insured bank assets. Now, reports the Economic Policy Institute, they have nearly half. They overlap with the biggest derivatives dealers � JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup.

The government heavily subsidizes the megabanks, but it�s the small banks that provide higher savings interest, lower fees, lower loan and credit card rates, and do much of the lending to small business, who in turn create most new jobs.

Behind their Main Street rhetoric, Congress and the Obama administration have so far been the change Wall Street can believe in. The administration and Federal Reserve are loaded with revolving door Wall Streeters and their proteges. Campaign donors and lobbyists are working Congress to minimize and distort reform.

Make your voices heard. We need to enact tough regulations and bust the banks who busted our economy � before they do it again.

The next chapter "Two Wonderful Rituals" describes Egyptian rituals to Amen-Ra, and the Blazing Star. They sing a hymn to "Ra, the Logos, the Sun-God, thanking Him for His response..." They take a sacrament to Osirus.

The next ritual described may possibly refer to part of the secret Palladium Rite, as it refers to THE TRIANGLE OF ADEPTS. The Palladium Rite calls its groups Triangles. He talks about chanting invocations, and then angels appearing. Then the Illuminati salute is given to the Angel, where the left arm is placed above as if shielding one from light. (p. 341) Leadbeater indicates that eventually the Temple of the Angels draws 9 orders of angels, "which are not limited to one solar system." (p. 342)

THE MIZRAIM & MEMPHIS RITES

These two rites, although separate in some areas are closely allied. The Rite of Mizraim is mainly Jewish. The secret order of the Prieure de Sion is also predominantly Jewish. The B'nai B'rith seems to have taken over some of the Rite of Mizraim influence upon Masonry.

THE PALLADIUM RITE

is popular among those in positions of power. It is said that the leaders of the Palladium Rite are allowed to visit or join the B'nai B'rith lodges.

William Schnoebelen is presently a Christian author. Prior to becoming a Christian, he had been initiated into the Palladium Lodge in Chicago named Resurrection Lodge #13. He describes some about getting the Palladium Degree of Paladin in his recent book
Masonry- Beyond The Light. That lodge claimed to be derived from the European chapter of the AISB.(p. 186) Higher Masons become Illuminati-- which go by several names one of which is "Masters of the Temple." A single illumined person is called an Illuminatus.

Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.), chairwoman of the House Committee on Rules, which threw out more than 200 amendments proposed for HR 3962, including 11 that required Congress and other government officials to sign on to the same government-run health plan they want for the American people.

More than 200 amendments were rejected by the House Rules Committee ahead of Saturday's vote on the Democrats' health care bill, including 11 that would have required members of Congress and other government officials to be enrolled in the same federal insurance plan proposed for the American people.

Critics of the health care bill said they offered the 11 amendments � including some that would require the president, vice president, and Supreme Court justices to give up their Federal Employees Health Benefit Program (FEHBP) to enroll in the �public option� or Medicaid � to showcase the problems with the massive legislation.

�If Congress forces our constituents into a public option plan over time, then members of Congress should be expected to do the same,� Rep. Howard McKeon (R-Calif.) told CNSNews.com.

The House Rules Committee attempt was the second time McKeon had tried to amend the Democrats� health plan to include legislators in the public option.

�Democrats voted down a similar amendment, 21-18, in the Ways and Means Committee during the July markup of HR 3200,� McKeon said. �It became apparent then that Democrats are afraid of being put on a government-run health care program, but that fear does not extend to the welfare of their own constituents.�

The public option in the House bill would be a government health insurance agency run by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and available through the federal Health Insurance Exchange.

�This is one of those classic hypocritical moments for the Democrats,� Matt Lavoie, spokesman for Rep. Wally Herger (R-Calif.), told CNSNews.com. �They simply don�t want to put up with the public option that they are preparing to inflict on the American public.�

But Vincent Morris, communications director for the Democrat-controlled House Rules Committee, told CNSNews.com that the amendments were rejected because no one, including Congress, will be forced to sign on to government-run health care.

�The reason we didn�t support those amendments is because the public option was created precisely to give the American people a choice between private and public [insurance], Morris said. �Given that all Americans have a choice about whether to join the public option, we thought it didn�t make any sense to force members of Congress to join.�

Rep. Michael Burgess (R-Texas) said he proposed his amendment because the bill does not fix the problems with the already government-run Medicaid program. His amendment �would make members of Congress a mandatory covered population under Title XIX of the Social Security Act (Medicaid) without consideration of any other asset or qualification test.�

�This bill fails to address the problems with Medicaid and instead adds millions more Americans to the program,� Burgess told CNSNews.com. �Forcing members of Congress to walk a mile in the shoes of Medicaid patients I believe is the only way Congress will get serious about making the fundamental fixes to Medicaid that the program needs.�

Morris said Burgess� amendment was rejected because it could hurt poor people.

�Medicaid is a federal-state program that provides low-income populations with health care,� Morris told CNSNews.com. �Democratic members strongly oppose any effort of diverting resources for the poor to themselves instead.

�If Medicaid resources are diverted to members of Congress, it could impact low-income Americans, and that�s why Democrats did not support the amendment,� Morris said.

But J. Gresham Barrett (R-S.C.) told CNSNews.com that by agreeing to be a part of the same system they are offering the American people, Democrats could send a message that they are confident that their bill will benefit Americans.

�If members of Congress and the White House administration truly believe that a government health care option will provide the same timely and quality care that private sector health insurance does, then they and their staffs should be required to enroll in this option,� Barrett said.

�If it is good enough for American families, then it is more than good enough for Washington bureaucrats,� he said. �Therefore, I decided to offer an amendment which would mandate all members of Congress, their staff, and administration officials to participate in the public option.�

He said HR 3962 has the same problems as the previously proposed bill, HR 3200.

�When H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, was introduced, I was disappointed to find that many of the problems in the original bill had not been addressed or changed in any way,� Barrett said.

�While I adamantly oppose any kind of government-run health care option, I decided to offer several amendments which would address some of the most troubling provisions in this legislation, including an amendment that mandates all members of Congress, their staff, and administration officials to participate in the public option,� Barrett added.

Barrett added that the process that led up to the passage of HR 3962 was anything but bi-partisan.

�I believe my amendments were rejected because the House Rules Committee is currently under Democrat control,� he said. �This closed-door process is not an appropriate way to make decisions, especially considering the sweeping consequences of this massive bill.�

However, folks inside his inner circle say he was more concerned with the adverse affect on diversity than Hasan actually committing terrorist acts. Seriously General? These were your thoughts? Casey went on ABC This Week with Stephanopolous and said the same thing. Diversity is killing our men and women in uniform because of the political correctness associated with it. It's diluting our ranks when people of questionable character are serving under a different flag, than that of the United States. OK, so here's the plan. We need a government funded mass transit system like no other. I'm thinking a huge fleet of cars that can not only drive themselves, but can also communicate their route to vehicles around them. This technology is available now and we own GM right? The vehicles should be all electric, and come in various models (2 seaters to busses). Charging stations should be dispursed at regular intervals, and the vehicles should be able to charge themselves. Due to the substantial initial cost, private ownership would be limited. Mayflower Compact

The Mayflower Compact was the first governing document of Plymouth Colony. It was written by the colonists, later together known to history as the Pilgrims, who crossed the Atlantic aboard the Mayflower. Almost half of the colonists were part of a separatist group seeking the freedom to practice Christianity according to their own determination and not the will of the English Church. It was signed on November 11, 1620 by 41 of the ship's more than one hundred passengers, in what is now Provincetown Harbor near Cape Cod.

Reasons for the Compact

The Mayflower was originally bound for the mouth of the Hudson River, in land granted in a patent from the Crown to the London Virginia Company. The decision was made instead to land farther north, in what is now Massachusetts. This inspired some of the "strangers" (colonists who were not members of the congregation of religious dissenters leading the expedition) to proclaim that since the settlement would not be made in the agreed-upon Virginia territory, they "would use their own liberty; for none had power to command them...."To prevent this, many of the other colonists decided to establish a government. The Mayflower landed at Plymouth (so named by Captain John Smith earlier) in November 1620. The settlers named their settlement "Plimouth" (also historically known as "Plimoth", an old English spelling of the name) after the major port city in Devon, England from which the Mayflower sailed.

The Mayflower Compact was based simultaneously upon a majoritarian model (even though the signers were not in the majority) and the settlers' allegiance to the king. It was in essence a social contract in which the settlers consented to follow the compact's rules and regulations for the sake of survival.]

The original document was lost, but the transcriptions in Mourt's Relation and William Bradford's journal Of Plymouth Plantation are in agreement and accepted as accurate. Bradford's hand written manuscript is kept in a special vault at the State Library of Massachusetts. Bradford's transcription is as follows:

A prison spokesman says John Allen Muhammad died by injection at 9:11 p.m. Tuesday at Greensville Correctional Center.

Muhammad was executed for killing Dean Harold Meyers at a gas station during the spree that terrorized Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., over a three-week period. His teenage accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, was sentenced to life in prison.

There seems to be a perfect conformity between Gabi Ashkenazi and his last name. Last week, Ashkenazi was quoted as saying that Israel was likely to wage another quasi holocaust on Gaza, adding that the Israeli occupation army would enter the innermost corners and streets of the coastal territory.

As a nefarious mass murderer, Ashkenazi, like the rest of Israeli war criminals, ought to be in the Hague preparing his defense against charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity. After all the crimes he perpetrated put him on equal footing with Nazi war criminals who had stood trial for their own crimes against humanity during the Second World War.

However, because of the serious moral imbalance afflicting our world today, which finds a brazen expression in western complicity with Zio-Nazism, Ashkenazi and ilk are not only free but are even threatening their victims with a fresh holocaust.

In a certain sense, Ashkenazi�s arrogant behavior falls within the normal order of things. The totally inappropriate reaction by the international community to the Nazi-like blitz against the unprotected Gazans must have further emboldened Israeli leaders, convincing them that Israel can always have a free season on the 1.5 million helpless, blockaded and thoroughly starved inhabitants of the coastal enclave without having to worry about any serious ramifications and repercussions.

It is true that many free-minded political and moral leaders, such as the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, have strongly condemned Israeli barbarianism in Gaza.

It is also true that the Goldstone report, prepared by South African Judge Richard Goldstone, denounced Israel for perpetrating war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Gaza blitz, which is a positive development.

However, it is also true that war criminals pay little attention to verbal condemnations even if coming from prominent international bodies and figures.

This is why Askenazi�s remarks ought to be taken with utmost seriousness for two main reasons: First because the Israeli army, or Zionist Wehrmacht, is capable of committing the unthinkable, including the carpet bombing of civilian areas, using cluster bombs, as happened over Lebanon in the summer of 2006, or white phosphorus as happened in Gaza last winter. And second, because Israel is essentially a rebellious state which has never taken international law seriously. What is even more scandalous is that western countries, especially the United States, have always treated the Judeo-Nazi entity as above international law.

Hence, it is imperative that the Palestinian people play their cards very carefully and smartly. After all, when wrestling with a huge bull, one has to rely on his brain, not his muscles, otherwise one may end up getting crushed by the mighty beast.

Palestinians ought to be always mindful of this fact because their very survival as a people depends to a large extent on the good will of the international community, not their own military or political strength. After all, most Palestinians are effectively prisoners of the enduring Israeli military occupation.

Hence, the Palestinian must seek to recruit the best minds and most gifted spokespersons to raise the awareness of the peoples of the world about the creeping holocaust Israel is trying to wreak on our helpless people.

We must not flinch from invoking the holocaust lest we be accused of making hyperboles. Indeed, if even one tenth of what happened in Gaza earlier this year had happened to Israeli Jews, Israel would have invoked the holocaust nonstop, and urgent calls from around the world would have been made for saving the Jews and preventing the Arabs from completing what Adolph had started nearly seventy years ago.

More to the point, the idea of Israel carrying out a sort of a holocaust is not unthinkable at all.

Last year, the Israeli deputy defense minister Mattan Vilna�ai warned that Israel would launch a holocaust against the Palestinians if that was what the Palestinians wanted. And during the blitzkrieg on Gaza, the psychotic Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman was quoted by the Israeli media as saying that a nuclear bomb ought to be dropped on Gaza.

Hence, Palestinian fears are not and shouldn�t be viewed as phobic and irrational. After all, we are dealing with an irrational state and a morbid society that are overwhelmed with a unique type of collective psychosis.

Never the less, raising our voices is not sufficient. We must also seek to enlist the attention and support of international human rights organizations as much as possible. These are credible witnesses whose testimonies might be proven crucial for safeguarding the rights of our people, the dead as well as the living.

We must also gather and meticulously document every conceivable piece of information pertaining to Zionist crimes and criminals, from the ordinary soldier in the field to the highest-ranking commander. This shouldn�t be a difficult job as there is already a huge amount of information pertaining to Israeli war criminals available, even through the internet.

Furthermore, Palestinians and their supporters should always confront states all over the world with information indicting Israeli military and political leaders. We should seek to narrow their horizons, make the capitals of the world off-limit to them, we should pursue them wherever they go. These people are war criminals and child killers must not be allowed to have any shred of peace of mind . Their murderous crimes must condemn them to a life of existential anxiety, stress and depression.

Of course, the Zio-Nazis will not surrender and allow themselves to be easily defeated by our efforts. Moreover, manifestly immoral governments such as those of the US and Germany, to name just a few, will hasten to support Israel and shield it from any proactive measures that would make the Zionist regime feel the heat and understand that the occupation has a cost that must be paid in full.

But we and our allies could counter this true axis of evil by building a worldwide front comprising millions of free and honest men and women who would chase the war criminals wherever they go and expose their evil deeds.

Luckily, we already have such a movement in place. But we need to get more organized, and be more effective.
