General Summary:
Provide a complete shopping experience for our customers, involving product knowledge and superior customer service.

Broad Responsibilities:
* Primary Responsibility-Customer Service
* Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store
* Find out the specific needs of each person that enters the store
* Direct customers throughout the store or to the specific area the customer requests
* Understand the FLEET FEET FIT Process and ensure that it is always used when fitting shoes
* Give accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries; if the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an answer before the customer leaves the store
* Sell by satisfying customer needs. Work to make customers, not just sales.
* Understand the spirit of the returns policy
* Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude and cooperate with teamwork
* Apply the above standards to all phone inquiries

Merchandising and Maintenance:
* Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock and sales floor area
* Check stock daily to ensure that all products are adequately stocked and available for customers; If stock is not currently available offer to put their name in the special orders catalog and to call them when stock arrives
* All hanging merchandise should be neat and clean
* Maintain store image by dressing in an appropriate manner
* Vacuum, sweep floors and empty all trash each day if required

Physical Requirements:
* Able to safely lift boxes up to 70 lbs.
* Standing for extended period of time
* Available to work store schedule - Sunday to Saturday
