Plans and establishes security procedures to comply with Federal regulations for handling classified information and material. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: <br>

 Serve as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for the facility. <br>
 Establish and implement facility access procedures. <br>
 Maintain program access records for employees and visitors. <br>
 Prepare and implement procedures for safeguarding all program classified material. <br>
 Responsible for the day to day management of all program security to include multiple local sites. <br>
 Prepare and present security education program. <br>
 Manage access control and alarm systems. <br>
 Oversee after-hours alarm response service. <br>
 Participate in the development and implementation of corporate-wide security policies.  <br>
 Oversee classified computing activities in compliance with specific program guidance. <br>
<br>
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: <br>

 Support the Senior Security Manager with special tasks as assigned.<br>
<br>
<br>
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: <br>
<br>
 Bachelors Degree or equivalent. <br>
 Five years minimum experience in Special Access Program security. <br>
 Minimum of three years experience in managing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required. <br>
 Position requires Top Secret clearance based on current background investigation. <br>
<br>
SKILLS REQUIRED: <br>
<br>
 Extensive knowledge of both government and industrial security to analyze evaluate and interpret current security requirements. <br>
 Must be able to interpret the intent of available guidelines and use considerable judgment in applying them to individual situations. <br>
 Must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail. <br>

- A.S. degree in Information Technology or comparable discipline and 1 to 3 years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.<br>

 Do you have a sense of urgency greater than the person servicing your last DMV visit?<br>

Position Title:<br>
Information Security Engineer<br>
<br>
Position Summary:<br>
The Information Systems & Security Engineer will be a key member of the Information Systems & Security team responsible for maintaining physical, network, O/S and overall security. You will work closely with our business partners to convey security standards, provide firewall support as well as harden and review operating systems and network devices.  The Information Systems & Security Engineer is to help identify vulnerabilities, fulfill routine procedures, perform security administration tasks and perform assigned technical Information Security functions to ensure all applicable program requirements are met.  <br>
<br>
Essential Functions:<br>
	Securing Internet servers, operating systems, databases and backend applications<br>
	Assist with builds, design and maintenance of secure networks, Intrusion Detection Systems, network forensic products and various security tools.<br>
	Network analysis, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing <br>
	Perform routine security review tasks and complete regularly scheduled procedures<br>
	Be able to support and have a deep understanding of multiple operating systems <br>
	Work closely with clients and internal groups to ensure security practices are being adhered to.<br>
	Assist with risk assessments, software and hardware testing, access controls and other security related tasks.<br>
	Generate security related reports and perform briefings for presentation to management.<br>
	Remain aware of trends and new developments within the realm of information security to assist in locating and/or mitigating risks. Assist in recommending control measures to improve information security.<br>
	Assist in vulnerability management and respond to incidents by determining causes, possible solutions, and if necessary assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such incidents.<br>
	Assist in the development of security polices, standards, guidelines, procedures, and other elements of an Information Security Program. <br>
	Assist with efforts to improve Information Security awareness and education.<br>
	Assist with supporting internal and external audits. <br>
	Additional duties as described by management.<br>
	Required to be on-call during non-business hours.<br>
<br>
<br>
Qualifications:<br>
	Experience in understanding and securing Internet servers, databases and backend applications<br>
	A minimum of 1 year experience with designing and maintaining Intrusion Detection Systems and network forensics products<br>
	1 - 3 years experience securing networks<br>
	Experience with network vulnerability and penetration testing tools and methods. Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and high availability web infrastructures.<br>
	Hands-on ability with firewall and security products <br>
<br>
Desired Skills:<br>
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or other applicable technical/security related certifications.<br>
